2003 Acura CL Type S coupe, 6 speed manual transmission, six cylinder VTEC. 260 HP. Extremely rare model, but parts are readily available since they are same as Acura TL models. Runs perfectly. Fast and quiet. Amazing pick-up, especially 2nd and 3rd gear when you want to get it moving. Black on black coupe, leather seats, power seats, heated seats, cold AC, 110K miles, touch screen navigation (really…a very expensive option back in 2003), moon roof. Paint condition is excellent. Newer tires. Interior leather very good. Mileage low for this year. New Kenwood head unit with Bluetooth for phone and music. Original working radio/six disk CD player is available if you want it (I wanted Bluetooth installed, so that’s the way the car is now). If you like the Acura RSX, this car is better; like an RSX on steroids. Larger, more luxurious, sporty and much faster. RSX Type S has 200 HP, this car is 260 HP. At the time this car was manufactured, it was the most powerful engine in the Honda/Acura line up. Note this is a manual transmission. If you do the research, you will see that the CL’s had transmission issues…but that was the automatic transmission. This is a bullet-proof manual transmission. Also had the timing belt service and water pump replaced around 30K miles ago. Do your homework and perform a national search, you won’t find more than one or two of these cars in the country with less miles. Has a true limited slip differential. Unlike many limited slip differentials, the CL Type-S uses a set of gears to direct the appropriate amount of torque to the right and left driving wheels by sensing wheel spin. If the inside tire loses traction and starts to spin as the car negotiates a tight turn, the differential redirects torque to the outer tire. This transfer helps keep the inside wheel from spinning, allows the driver to apply throttle sooner through turns, helps maintain a more neutral handling balance and results in an extremely responsive steering feel. Clean title. Valid PA state inspection until April 2019. I am planning to complete the PA inspection before end of April. Location of car is Lansdale, PA area (northern suburb of Philadelphia).
