I have owned this car for 2.5 years, 12,000 miles and in this time the following work has been performed... -Timing chains, guides and Vanos rebuilds. All parts were replaced with oem parts including gasket except Vanos rebuild kits. These were Beisan Systems. Vanos solenoids were sent to Dr Vanos for testing and one solenoid was replaced. -BC Racing Coilovers installed -Front control arm bushings replaced -Rear links and ball joints replaced -Front sway bar links replaced -Power steering lines and reservoir replaced -Rear differential service -Transmission service -Spark plugs -Valve cover gaskets -Oil separators and hoses -Water pump -Thermostat -Belts, pulleys and tensioners -Tires replaced within last 1,000 miles During my ownership the car has been serviced with Liqui Moly 10w60 ever 3,000-3,500 miles Previous owner stated the clutch was replaced with a UUC single mass flywheel conversion at 155,000 Has Britalman car back exhaust installed that sounds amazing! Both interior and exterior show their age, but the car still looks great! Runs and drives as well as any other E39 M5 I have driven (I'm a BMW tech).
