I am the third owner of this beautiful 1998 Buick LeSabre Limited. I purchased this car in March of 2018 to be my daily driver. The previous owner is a personal friend of mine, and his parents are the original owners. This LeSabre is powered by the 3800 Series II V6, known for it's reliability and longevity. It has had nothing but Mobil1 full synthetic engine oil since new. This Buick has been well maintained, including the following in 2016; new front struts, new brakes, new brake lines, new spark plugs, new spark plug wires, new serpentine belt, new belt idler. The upper intake manifold has been replaced, and the plastic lower intake manifold gaskets have been replaced with the aluminum gaskets. In 2018, I put on new General Altimax RT43 tires which now have about 10,000 miles on them. I also installed a new fuel pump. The A/C is in great shape and blows very cold air, and the heater works perfectly as well. The body of the car has very little rust. I included a photo of the bottom of the door, as well as a couple photos of the underside of the car. The seats are in great condition with no rips or tears in the upholstery. There is a small hole in the carpet beside the accelerator pedal. The paint is in excellent condition with the exception of the front and rear bumpers. Both have small spots where the paint has peeled off. The hood, roof, and trunk lid are in great shape, and the body is straight. In the trunk is a Kenwood 6 disc changer. This Buick is 21 years old, so it's not perfect. The body control module has an intermittent issue that disables the door locks and dome light. The door locks and dome light seem to work for about a month, then they don't work for about a month. I don't mind using the key to unlock the door, so I haven't bothered to fix this. The ABS light is lit on the dash and the ABS system is not functioning. The brakes operate smoothly and have great stopping power, but they operate as traditional non-ABS brakes. Personally, I like this better than the ABS systems. When the fuel pump was replaced, the fuel gauge began reading 1/4 tank when full. As the fuel level drops, the gauge drops too, but it only functions between 1/4 and E. I simply reset the trip odometer each time I fill up, and I stop for fuel when I reach 250 miles. Highway driving at 75 mph has produced fuel economy around 28-29 mpg, and I see about 23 mpg with city driving. The display for the climate control is a little dim at times, but most of the time it's easy to read in the daytime. There is a hole in the muffler that makes the exhaust note a little noisy, but it's not obnoxious. This has been a great car for me, and I don't want to sell it, but I've been offered a deal that's too good to turn down on a newer, lower mileage vehicle. I'm confident the new owner will enjoy this Buick as much as I have. I'll do my best to answer questions each evening. This Buick is located near Hemlock and Merrill, Michigan.
