Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that... I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a Buick Rainier CXL AWD. I would rate the exterior of this Buick to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking SUV. It is finished in Silver over Gray leather interior behind professionally tinted windows. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this Rainier, there is a crack on the front bumper cover and a few rub marks on the plastic cladding here and there...which is hard to fault an old truck for. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors, and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the trim and cladding is present and shows well. There is a crack along the bottom of the winshield. It is out of the driver's field of vision, but please check your local laws to see if this will be an issue or not in your home state. Aside from that, all the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in nice rubber with good tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. I would also rate the interior of this Rainier to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards show well for their age and are tight. The dash and headliner also show well for their age. The carpets show a few marks but are not excessively worn. The seats also show some wear but nothing hateful for their age. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The power windows, locks, seats, and mirrors all work properly. The audio system sounds good through the factory speakers. The climate control system is fully automatic and offers independent temperature settings for both the driver and passneger. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. Rear passenger room is impressive and the cargo area is spacious, too. The only other thing worth noting about the interior of this Rainier is the presence of a smoker's odor. It's not the worst I've ever smeled, but you can definitely notice it. Again, please take the time and check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this Rainier appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.2L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older vehicle. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil temperature at all times. The engine makes good power and feels strong. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly wtih zero issues. The AWD system is tested and working properly. If you're looking for a solid old SUV, this Rainier would make a great choice. Under the Buick luxury, this is a tried and true...tough as nails Chevy Trailblazer, so you know this truck is solid.
