Well kept, original 1996 Beretta Z-26. Black over Garnet. I purchased this car new in 1996. It has never seen snow or salt, and has been kept indoors. It is in very good condition, and has always been babied. The exterior is in very good shape, showing only minor stone chips and a few light scratches. The paint is original with the exception of the driver's side quarter panel, which was refinished 15+ years ago due to a scratch. No body filler was used, and the paint match is excellent. The same panel currently has two touched up scratches. For the car to be perfect this panel would ideally be refinished again. I attempted to capture this in the last picture. Otherwise all panels are straight, the car has never been hit or in any accident, and it presents very well. The interior is in excellent condition - the door panels and dashboard show no signs of warpage. Seats are in like new condition as well, including the side bolsters on the front seats. The original floor mats are in good shape, with only the driver's side mat showing some wear. Mechanically, the car is sound, with no known issues. The air conditioner blows cold, and all accessories work as intended. The lower intake manifold gasket, a common problem with this motor, was replaced last year, as it was showing early signs of failure. Otherwise only the battery and alternator have been replaced thru the years. Back in the late 90's I had the stereo professionally upgraded. The goal was to improve sound quality while keeping the appearance as close to stock as possible. Equipment includes an Alpine 1.5 DIN head unit, Alpine equalizer with time correction settings, Boston Acoustics 6.5" Pro Components powered by Rockford Punch Amplifiers, 3 - JL10W6 subwoofers powered by a PPI A600 Amplifier,carpeted custom built kick panels up front, Dynamat in the doors and trunk. Still sounds good after all these years, but could be returned to original if desired by next owner. Negatives to mention...The door check in the drivers door broke a few years ago, so the door when opened swings freely without stops. Annoying, but doesn't affect the function of the door. The 3100 V-6 has the common "piston slap" the engine is known for when first started - has done this since new, and does not affect the drivability of the car. ABS light occasionally comes on; turning off and restarting the car usually clears it. Again, no impact on the functionality of the brakes themselves. And of course the aforementioned scratches on the drivers quarter panel. Other notes..car has an Alpine alarm system that has not worked for a few years, but the keyless entry feature/ remote trunk release still does work (2 remotes included). I haven't bothered with it because at this point all I really need is the keyless entry. Also the tires are original. Still decent tread on them, however if you plan on driving an a regular basis I would obviously recommend replacement based on age alone. Also one tire has a very slow leak that I top off every week or so. This car has provided me years of trouble free weekend enjoyment - gets comments every time I take it out now, as they have become quite rare, especially in this condition. I don't have enough time to enjoy it enough anymore, so I've decided to pass it on to someone else who will. Selling as-is - no warranty. My secondary car use it once or twice a week drives good fires right up I've put about 3 or 4 thousand miles since I got it good condition for its age
