An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1998 Chevrolet Lumina LS with just 44k miles showing on the odometer. These cars were wildly popular in the 90s and Chevy sold them as fast as they could make them. I would rate the exterior of this Lumina to be in BELOW AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. While the exterior is presentable for a 20 year old vehicle, it does show more wear than I'd hoped for. The Tan Metallic finish shines nicely and looks smooth all around. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific vehicle, there is a dent on the LF fender and some mild damage showing over the right tail light. It looks like granny may have needed new glasses. Aside from that, she shows pretty well. All of the trim and moldings are present and show well. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory wheel covers are all present and this Lumina is wearing a matching set of Michelins with good tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. I would rate the interior of this Lumina to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The carpets show a few marks from age but are presentable, overall. The seats are clean, comfortable and show minimal wear. The interior is pretty basic. The windows roll up and down easily. The stereo is original and sounds good through the factory speakers. The climate control system also appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows cold. The dash is curling up a little at the edge, which is hard to fault a 20 year old car for. This Lumina comes with two sets of keys and the original owners books are in the glove box. The interior is spacious and comfortable. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this Lumina appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 3.1L V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. The Lumina drives exactly how you'd expect a 44k mile car to drive. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints.
