DRIVETRAIN: factory 2.5 Turbo car matted to Mopars nice selection for a 5 spd trans. The 91 Models had some many of the bugs worked out by then, its one of the best of the best yrs for the Daytona turbos. Most of the cars where modded to squeeze out every bit of HP from them. This is one of the very few that were just left stock and used as a daily driver by a lady who loved her Dodge. Very original and unmolested under the hood. INTERIOR: take a look at the pics, is in really nice shape. Its been used, but not abused. All original here too, even down to the stock radio etc. Theres some wear n tear as you can expect, but very nice for a survivor car. EXTERIOR: the body very straight for its age, but this is a 90% rust FREE survivor. Original sheetmetal the best I can tell from 1991. The White paint Im almost sure is all original. This car was garaged most of its life in Az and maybe with a nice detail the paint would look much nicer. SUSPENSION: the suspension looks normal from what I can make out, but of course with the upgrades that came along with the Shelby Option. Stiffer springs, larger sway bars etc. No wacky mods and surface rust at best. Makes coming apart a breeze. Minimal rust under the car, making taking this car apart, almost a breeze !! It has been in our family since new and was a one-owner car its entire life (up until several months ago when we became the second one). The car was purchased brand new at a local Dodge dealership and only ever driven to work and back home on nice days and occasional weekends. It was garaged 95% of the time, washed, waxed and detailed on a regular basis. This has black paint with silver aerodynamic body ground effects and a gray cloth/velour interior. The engine is the optional 3.0L OHC V-6. FOR SALE : 1990 DODGE DAYTONA ES Up for sale is my highly modified Hemi Daytona. this car is a blast to drive and turns heads. It has been featured in Mopar Action magazine and autographed by Mr Norm himself. The engine is a 5.7 Hemi with custom headwork then fitted with a billet aftermarket camshaft and topped with a Magnuson supercharger and Arrington 85mm throttle body with cold air intake. exhaust exiting through BBK stainless headers and custom 3in pipes with Borla xr1 mufflers and stainless resonators. Power is transmitted through a 6 Speed Viper trans with aluminum flywheel and streetslayer clutch then transmitted via aluminum driveshaft to the 8.75 sure-grip diff with 4.30 gears. Car rides on KYB shocks and struts with Eibach springs. Stopping comes from factory 4 wheel disc brakes. Wheels are TSW Jarama 18x8 fronts and 18x13 rears with 335s providing traction.
