2006 Dodge Magnum Police Package with 62k miles, one owner, 5.7l V8 with 5 speed automatic with "auto-stick" feature. I bought it at a local police surplus auction earlier in the year. It runs and drives awesome except for occasionally cutting off while driving and constantly cutting off at idle. Some days it will cut off 20 times a day and other days it will run 200 miles and numerous short trips with no issues. I've tried a bunch of stuff and can't figure it out and I am ready to move on to other projects. There is tape on the roof that covers the hole where the light bar wiring went through. Trans shifts perfect, engine is solid as well. It really drives awesome. Tires are like new, AC is cold, all power options work. Still has all the wiring and bulbs for wig/wags and the siren/external PA speaker. Power windows and door locks, keyless entry remote also.Back doors do not open from inside but all it takes is a few parts from the junkyard to make them function properly. It has a factory x pipe which is pretty cool. The story I was told when I bought the car is that it was a Richland County Sheriffs Department "C.A.T." vehicle which means Community Action Team. Basically whenever they wanted a flashy presence for a news report or high profile situation, this was one they brought out front and center. It was apparently not used as a "beat" car or patrol car.
