1998 GMC Jimmy SLT. This vehicle has been perfectly maintained. Mostly all factory options. 4wheel drive works perfect. PS PB CC PW AC PL. Leather interior in excellent condition. Small dime size patch on driver seat. Driver seat is power This is a unique Jimmy with many upgrades as well as factory options. All suspension upgrades have been performed in the last 10k miles. 4 Gabriel Max Adjust mono tube shocks. Polyurethane upper control arm bushings.. All new ball joints upper and lower. New brakes, rotors and calipers. WS6 performance steering box from a Trans Am. Addco front and rear sway bars with poly mounts. Rebuilt rear end ,new bearings etc. with Torsen Zexel posi rear from SS Camaro. 17x9 Camaro SS rims with 275/55/17 Toyo A/S tires. Transmission was rebuilt at 125k. It was freshened up within 10k {url removed} received billet servos as well as line pressure modification. It has a large transmission cooler as well. The engine had the intake gaskets replaced a month ago and I've replaced the Dexron coolant. New clutch fan, water pump and radiator. The engine is tuned by wait4me performance for gas mileage . The catalytic converter is less than a year old and so is the 2 1/2 inch Dynomax exhaust. LED headlights. This vehicle is equipped with the factory towing package. There is a Pioneer am/fm cd with HD radio. There is a pioneer subwoofer and Yamaha amp as well. the vehicle has 187K on it. I am technically the 2nd owner as the vehicle was bought from my neighbor around 2005. She drove it to Delaware daily for her job so the majority are highway miles. There are a few minor dings and dents. There is also an imperfection in the hatch where the support strut mount broke and I had it re welded. The rubber there is deformed a little. I added the picture. Known issues , the fuel pump is newer but the vehicle had been sitting for a few months the gauge acts up. I have included a new fuel pump in case. I also include an extra LED headlight bulb. There are also new headlights. I now have a company car so I don't use the truck and it takes up space in my driveway as well as added insurance. This is a great truck an it is priced much lower than similiar vehicles on here. This truck handles like a modern SUV with a handling package. It is practically all rebuilt because I drove it daily. Don't try to lowball me, it isn't typical of its age and I promise you that it shifts and drives like nothing in it's respective group.

2000 GMC Jimmy SLT 4x4, Runs Good This high mileage (just under 200,000) GMC Jimmy is powered by a 4.3 V6 engine and a 4 speed automatic transmission with 4WD. It starts right up and runs good. It shifts smoothly and drives good down the road. It has a brand new Control Arm, Idler Arm Lower Ball, Sway Bar Link and a newer exhaust system / Cataltytic Converyer / Oxygen Sensors. There are no dash warning lights on (no “ABS” or “Check / Service Engine lights showing). The radial tires have good tread and are mounted on the factory rims. The A/C blows cold and the heater hot. It has power door locks, cruise control and power windows. It has factory AM-FM cassette and CD stereo. It has a power moon roof which works without issue. The Graphite color vinyl interior looks good for its age with no major tears or issues. The body is very straight and solid with minor signs of rust (starting around the rear wheel-wells). There is a dent on the rear passenger’s side bumper and both the front driver’s and passenger’s side doors have the infamous GMC door pin issues (sagging), however both doors do close. This vehicle was used to drive back and forth to work 50 miles each way for three to four days a week. Due to the high mileage and age it is being replaced for a newer model with less mileage. This vehicle can be used for daily driving, restoring or parts (whatever the need you may have). Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about this vehicle. OK, here's the scoop: I bought this 2000 GMC Jimmy in October 2015, and since then have put 4150 miles on it (less than 1000 mi./year). It's been a reliable second car for us, but since we just leased a new SUV, and I just acquired another (second) car, it makes sense to let this one go.... The good: The body and interior are very clean for an almost-20-year-old car - a few nicks here and there, but nothing major either in the interior or on the exterior. The motor and transmission are strong, and the 4-wheel drive works fine. The heater and A/C both work fine. All the tires are in good shape, including the spare, although I've never had occasion to use it.... The bad: The radio doesn't work well - it plays (sort of), but the speaker connection is only good when the weather is very warm. The under carriage is pretty rusty, and one of the back leaf springs is cracked - as it happens, the crack is on the underside of one of the ends, so it doesn't seem to affect anything negatively (my mechanic said not to bother to replace it....). The ugly: It won't pass PA inspection, at least not at my mechanic's place - and I trust him! He says that I ought to replace the shocks (the car has always been pretty bouncy), and he thinks the front wheel bearings should also be replaced. Bottom line is at least $1000 to fix this properly (my days as a DIY mechanic are over) - and I'm simply not going to put any more dollars into it. So that's it - for someone willing to buy and install the parts it needs, or willing to take a chance that another shop will pass it for PA inspection, I think it can prove to be a real bargain. I have receipts for a recent complete brake job (including steel brake lines), and for both ball joints, an idler arm, and an upper control arm that were also replaced.... The successful buyer should make a $100 deposit through Paypal within 24 hours of the auction close - and I will accept Paypal (or cash or a cashier's check) for the balance as well. Pick up of the vehicle (and payment of the balance due) should take place within a week of the auction close. Also, I am not equipped to provide delivery of the vehicle, so the buyer will have to make his/her own arrangements to pick it up after payment. Finally, please note that the car does not have a current PA inspection sticker.
