Syclone #12The time has come to let my Sy go. I bought it 5 years ago after wanting one since 1991 of course. Same old story though, too many toys and I just can’t afford them all. It has been a high desert truck for all of its time from what I can tell. It’s not perfect but it is an excellent driver that is mechanically sound and can be driven daily. I have put a little over 12,000 miles on it in my 5 years and the odo quit last year right before I put it away for the winter. It isn’t heavily modded but I am a tinkerer and I like to reengineer things that need to be repaired or replaced anyway.The following is a list of what has been done to this truck:· Repainted exterior and cladding – Bed and jambs were not done· ZR1 wheels 17 X 9.5 front, 17 X 11 rear with fairly new Mickey Thompson Street Comp tires. Front tires are 275/40/17 and the rear are 315/35/17– original wheels and caps will be included along with a used set of Nitto tires if you want them· 3 inch Mandrel Bent Magnaflow exhaust with High Flow Spun Catalytic Converter · I was told that the trans was recently remanufactured right before I bought it and it shifts nice and firm· Adjustable piggy-back PROM with 3 bar map setup and gauge.· Valve seals were replaced· New steering components and 4 wheel alignment· New A/C system with R-12· Rear differential rebuilt with all new OE components· Engine torque strap· Intercooler scoop and metal pipes replaced with rubber hoses· RPM cold air intake· RPM braided steel turbo oil and coolant lines· RPM braided steel brake booster hose· Plastic belly pan replaced with die cut aluminum shield that has Syclone name cut into it· New OE fuel injector harness· New OE vacuum harness· New OE engine oil cooler lines· New OE leather steering wheel· HKS blow off valve· FF Dynamics twin electric cooling fans with variable speed adjustable controller· Kenwood media deck with aftermarket speakers and a Bazooka tube for bass· Belltech rear sway bar· Walbro 255 ltr/hr fuel pump· Full tune-up using Taylor Cable brass terminal cap, rotor and spark plug wires· New starter, alternator, water pump and serpentine belt· New weatherstrips and glass runs· New ignition and door locks· New fog lamps, tail lamps and front turn signals· DEI remote door lock set-upThis truck is not perfect and should be considered a driver. Being a desert truck the dash pad and console lid are cracking but I covered them both and I haven’t noticed either in years. I like to own fun toys that I’m not afraid to drive anywhere but are reliable and perform better than designed.

This is being relisted because it did not meet the reserve price at the last auction .2000 Gmc Sonoma only 13000 Original miles !! This was owned by an older lady who kept it in her carport. As you can see by the mileage she did not drive very much. Mechanically the truck is in excellent condition and it has zero rust. There are a few scratches and the sun has faded the front bumper, This truck has the SLS package with AC, Tilt, Cruise, Automatic 4 Speed Overdrive transmission, tinted glass, AM FM CD player, slide in bed liner and cloth captain seats. The truck is solid with a new Battery, and new Virginia inspection. Everything works as it should. I have the documentation to prove the mileage. This is practically a new truck , there can not be many with mileage this low in the whole country. It will last you a long time & is cheaper than buying a new truck. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that... I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2003 GMC Sonoma SLS with the factory ZR-2 off road package. I would rate the exterior of this Sonoma to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. This Sonoma is finished in Black over Black, which is a good color combination. The black finish shines well for its age and looks smooth overall. As with any older truck, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, you'd be hard pressed to find much to complain about as you walk around the exterior of this truck. The body lines are nice and straight. There is a little bit of rust visible on the cab extensions, but nothing horrible for an older truck. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well for their age and are wrapped in a matching set of rubber with deep tread all around. The factory ZR-2 Off Road package gives this truck a factory lift and fender flares, which makes for an aggressive look. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. I would rate the interior of this Sonoma to also be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean. The carpets show well for their age. The seats are clean and comfortable. The interior is pretty basic, but everything looks to be working. The windows roll up and down easily. The audio system has been upgraded with an aftermarket CD player, which sounds good through the factory speakers. The climate control system also appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. This Sonoma SLS has the optional extended cab with opening door, which makes access to the rear area easy. There is plenty of room behind the rear seats to keep your gear out of the elements and secure. There is also a jump seat for the poor sucker who loses at rock, paper, scissors and has to sit back there. Mechanically, this Sonoma appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.3L Vortec V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older truck. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure at all times. The check engine light is on. I couldn't get power at the diagnostic port to retrieve the code like I normally do so I cannot tell you why the engine light is on. I can tell you that the truck drives normally and I cannot see any issues while driving it so it's probably something stupid. During my road test, the brake and ABS light came on after a bit. My road test took me on a few errands. When I came out from the store and re-started the truck, the lights were off...but came back on a little later once I was driving again...so it's most likely a bad wheel sensor or something that gets triggered once the truck is moving. The brakes work normally and stop the truck safely. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. The push button 4WD system acts like it's working but the 4WD does not actually engage. For these trucks, it's usually the little motor down on the transfer case. It's an easy fix and, honestly, you have a good 6 months before we start thinking about snow again so you have all the time in the world to get it sorted out. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. The tires are a little noisy, but that is the nature of aggressive tires like this.
