GMC Typhoon is # 2001 of 2500 made in 1992. It has a rebuild engine and transmission at 103000 miles. New parts in the front suspension include ball joints, idler arm, pit-man arm, tie rods, shocks and power steering pump. New alternator and serpentine belt. Stainless steel exhaust. New tires all around. New headlights and windshield wipers. The vehicle has power windows, locks, tilt wheel, cruise control, Air conditioning, leather seating, fog lamps, power mirrors, 4 speaker sound system with new replacement upgraded speakers, new HD head unit with Bluetooth and a cd player. I have the original head unit that goes with the vehicle. The ABS is disconnected and the brakes work great. Recently had the paint touched up. The front bumper and ground effects need to be painted so I had that done. Some minor blemishes on the vehicle. MORE HAS BEEN DONE THAN THIS VEHICLE. See pics.

You'll have to look for a long time to find a nicer original example of a 1992 GMC Typhoon. It has only 8839 original miles on the odometer and looks like brand new. A 4 page article featured in a July 2017 Hemmings Motor News Magazine accompanies the sale. The exterior is Apple Red and Gray,and the finish is incredible. Only 345 out of 2497 units produced in 1992 sport this color combination. A black and gray interior contrast very well with the red exterior. Factory bucket seats with center console, and a perfect headliner and dash complement the flawless exterior. The original Delco radio and power windows are all operable. Factory A/C and power windows are fully operational. Of course, the original 4.3L Turbocharged (TD06-17C Turbo)V6 with electronic multi point fuel injection is still under the hood, backed by AWD. Air operated self leveling rear suspension, and a limited slip differential complete the power train. The original 16” Typhoon wheels fitted with brand new Uniroyal tires assure a smooth ride. Very clean and fast 1992 GMC Typhoon. Red exterior with black interior. Original motor has been replaced with John Lingenfelter motor at 35,000 miles. Bored and stroked. 20,000 miles on new motor, I am the second owner and have had this for 19 years. I have complete history documents from the original owner. Have one 12.90 time slip! No door dings or scratches. Excellent mechanical condition and cosmetic shape. Tires are in good condition with 15,000 miles on them. I will include the original short block with sale.
