Up for grabs is my personal 2007 Honda S2000 finished in stunning New Formula Red over black interior. With less than 68,000 driven miles, this car was only used for leisurely drives. To my knowledge, the vehicle has never spent a night outside and is always stored in a climate controlled, secured garage. The overall mechanics for the vehicle are in 100% functional and working condition. All maintenance is up to date - both the previous owner and I used personal references for the maintenance, thus there aren't any receipts to produce. The car is always on a battery tender to maintain battery health. The leather is in perfect shape free of marks, scratches, tears, stains etc. The top is in presentable shape. A small mark in the 'common' area, but it is not torn through nor does it leak at all. Please contact me with questions or concerns. I'm happy to assist with PPI's, shipping, etc. Included with the sale is 4 keys, soft top boot, oem car cover and all manuals and books.

Our technician removed the door sill plates to check for water intrusion underneath the carpets. He found everything to be dry with no signs of water intrusion whatsoever. After driving it around locally for a few weeks we took the car to the Honda dealer were they did an inspection and checked it for any computer codes. This car is truly one of a kind. 2001 Honda S2000 2001 Grand Prix White Honda S2000 - Rebuilt TItle - Owned since 2011

2001 Honda S2000VIN: JHMAP11431T001911Listing Date: 2018/10/18
Price: $X,500.0Mileage: XX5,100Location: Augusta,GA,USA

Intro:We are selling our 2001 Grand Prix White S2000. It has a rebuilt title but runs great. It has already had some big ticket items completed, such as a new clutch at 75k, a new Robbins cloth top with glass rear window a couple of years ago and Continental DW tires with only around 5000 miles on them. It looks beautiful with the white and red color combination. It offers a lot of fun for the money.Description:We have owned it since 2010 and it has been an extra car and been driven on nice days. It is physician owned and the owner is in his 60s. It has some of the classic S2000 3rd market accessories from back in the day, like Rick's S badges and the larger Rick's windscreen deflector. It also has a carbon fiber trim kit on the interior. It also has a leather center tunnel cover from an 02-03. All of these items are reversible. The stereo has an MP3 CD player and an iPod connector. It does not have bluetooth. The dashboard stereo controls work to control the stereo. It comes with maintenance records dating back to 2007 from when the prior owner purchased the car. There are more maintenance records on its Carfax history. Included records include a body inspection when the prior owner purchased it that verifies no frame damage. I have also inspected it and do not see any signs of frame damage. It has a good alignment and drives straight. Also noteworthy are that the clutch was replaced at 75k and that both the 60k and 90k services have been completed. The top was starting to show wear a couple of years ago and we replaced it with a cloth Robbins top with glass rear window. It looks great. The bolster was also looking a little worn, so we repaired it by replacing the leather on the upper and lower bolsters while it was at the upholstery shop. It includes two keys. We have taken good care of it. The A/C, heat, and cruise control work. The transmission has no grinds in any gears. There are no warning lights or check engine lights. The alignment is good and straight. The top works great and is a tight fit. The engine goes to redline and sounds great. The Carfax shows it has been a southern car since new and I do not see any rust anywhere. The only issues that I know of are: both power windows work, but the auto-down on the driver's side does not. The dome light works when it feels like it. From what I have read, these are both common to S2000s. Inferred Ownership History based on the AutoCheck / Carfax:1st owner in KY put 3k miles on it over 2 years. Appears to have been sold to the 2nd owner in 2003.2nd owner in GA purchased it and it was later totalled under his/her ownership in late 2005 at around 28k miles.Vehicle was sold at an insurance auction late 2005 and rebuilt in early 2006.3rd owner purchased it in early 2006 in FL and added about 25k miles. He/she traded it in around 52k miles.4th owner purchased it in late 2007 with 53k miles and drove it until we purchased it from him. He was in his 50s.We purchased in late 2011 with 98k miles. We have put about 7k miles on it over the last 7 years and it sits at just over 105k.Rebuilt History:I do not know the details of the damage from when it was salvaged. I am not a professional body guy, but I know how to look at things pretty decently. It looks like the driver rear ended someone and then was subsequently rear ended or that the driver was rear ended and pushed into someone else. The Carfax says front end damage, which is probably the information from the police report and may relate to airbag employment or determining fault, as the hood and driver's fender are both original. This is my observation: The trunk and rear bumper have been replaced and the rear edges of the rear quarter panels have been repaired. Both tail lights have been replaced. Based on my observation, I would guess the damage to the rear must have been relatively shallow but ran across the entire rear end. On the front end, the hood and driver's fender are original and carry their original VINs. The front passenger fender and front bumper were replaced. There is no VIN on the front passenger fender and there is a slight gap between the headlight and fender. That said, the front rails look like they haven't had any repair work and the radiator supports are straight. Based on my observation, I would guess that the damage was to the front bumper and passenger fender. The paint is in great shape across the entire car and I do not see any color mismatches. The front bumper has imperfections and the rear bumper also was bumped into next to the license plate and has imperfections (see photos). You will see an "not actual mileage" on the Carfax. My guess is that the mileage is actual, but that the car would not start at auction and therefore the odometer had no reading and was reported as such. From seeing the maintenance records and mileage history on the Carfax and Autocheck, my guess is that the mileage is correct. Although it does appear that someone accidentally set the odometer to kmh instead of mph for one inspection just before the 15k service was done. Why was it it totalled?Georgia is a Total Loss Formula State. That means if the cost to repair plus salvage value exceeds the actual cash value of the car, it gets totaled. My estimate is that the car value around the time of the accident was around $16-17k. From my looking the parts up, the OEM retail part cost for just things like bumpers, body panels, basic items like bumper reinforcement / supports, and associated hardware probably exceeded $7500 not counting airbags if they deployed. With labor and paint and adding airbags, the repair would have easily exceeded 10k. At that point if the salvage value exceeded $6-7k (which is almost certain considering the drivetrain is fine and it only had ~30k miles), then the car would be totaled. This is more certain if the airbags went off as the repair would be higher. That is my best guess. Anyone interested is welcome to have a local body shop inspect the car before purchase.Noteworthy: New cloth Robbins top with glass rear window. (2 years ago, garaged since installed. Like new.) Upgraded Alpine Stereo - Alpine CDA-9855 + iPod headunit with MB Quart tweeters and Infinity speakers behind the headrests. Clutch was replaced at 75k miles by the previous owner. No clutch buzz.Nearly new Continental DW tires were put on within the last couple thousand miles along with an alignment. The driver's side upper and lower bolsters were reupholstered and look great. See photos.60k service done at 63k miles, 90k service done at 98k miles. No known rust issues. Paint is great except for front bumper and rear bumpers, see photos. Interior is in excellent shape for the mileage. Driver's upper and lower bolsters were redone, not dyed. The reason for sale is that we have replaced the S2000 with a brand new Miata. Given that the S2000 is driven maybe 1000 miles a year, it makes no sense to keep both. We have decided to put the S2000 on eBay because it is late in the selling season, would like to get as much exposure as possible, and we would like to find it a new home instead of having it sit outside until spring. Most S2000s with this mileage are on their original clutches, have worn tops, and have rough interiors. We have taken care of all the big ticket items already. It is a great value and is going to make someone very happy. I think it goes without saying that there is no existing warranty and that it is sold as-is. Please note that a $500 non-refundable deposit is required within 24 hours of purchase or it will be relisted, so I encourage interested parties to ask any questions they may have before purchasing. Thanks for taking the time to read the description. Please let me know if you have any questions or need any more details. I have taken photos of the front rails, radiator supports, under the rear end, etc. but eBay limits the number of photos I can upload. I can provide them to interested parties if you want to look at them yourself. I'm can show the S2000 by appointment.
