A very rare vehicle indeed, seldom seen when new, let alone as a Collectible Classic. Only 55K miles. Interior in excellent condition, leather seating surfaces are unworn and show only slight creasing. Power convertible top is operational and also in excellent condition. 2 Sets of Wheels. Original wheels are included and pictured. 162 hp 3.0L V6. 4 speed Automatic Transmission. Here is a vehicle that captures a very specific moment in the evolution of the luxury coupe. Spirited and personal, in 1991 it inhabited a niche of one, an easily overlooked foreshadowing of dynamic things to come for a brand and a segment. It's kind of like one of those old first generation Ipods that now sell on ebay for thousands ! But hey, if I have to explain the attraction to you, you might not be the buyer for this unique vehicle. However, if you do get it, I'd like to throw in that it was formerly owned by a celebrity Infiniti enthusiast, the identity of whom will be revealed with the transfer of title ! VERY RARE 1992 INFINITI M30 CONVERTIBLE - 71K MILES - ONE OWNER THIS IS A ORIGINAL OWNER - ELDERLY OWNED . . . ESTATE CAR . . . Thank You for looking at our eBay posting, we ALWAYS describe our vehicles in the most open and honest way we can - we own an estate sale company called New England Estate Sales our website is www.NewEnglandEstateSales.net very often we get cars from the estates that we do we also attend a small charity auction that gets some AMAZING cars . . . this is one of those cars, from the research I did this is a SUPER RARE CAR. . .only made in 1991 and 1992 (1500 units per year - 3000 cars total) - the car that we’re selling is 100% original and "fresh to the market" never before for sale this is a 1992 Infiniti M30 Convertible (if you want to see some specs and other information about this car scroll down to where it says "general information on the Infiniti M30". . . this car has an absolutely unbelievable 71,997 original miles, these cars were VERY highly rated, plenty of power, very smooth, the motor and transmission are both 100% perfect, if you look at the photo of the dash cluster you will see NO lights, NO check engine lights NO warning lights NO nothing . . .VIN JNXHF16C4NT011526 it wears is original white pearl paint with tan leather interior. NO tears NO splits NO holes in the leather. . .just normal wear and creases. keeping in mind this leather is almost 30 years old. . .its pretty amazing. all plastic surfaces are clean, nice and original. the owner was an elderly college professor (UCONN) I traced the car back to 1992, the professor started out in Michigan, then moved to Washington State then finally to Connecticut. that is why the title says "used" it not that it changed owners, its that the car changed states. the miles are 100% original (verified through CarFax AND AutoCheck), there are only two issues with this car, (they are both cosmetic) there is a large dent on the front passenger fender (see photo) and the bumper cover is cracked / scuffed on the drivers side (it needs to be repaired or replaced) if you go to www.Car-Part.com you will find the front passenger fender (in correct pearl color) for under $100, all painted all you have to do is bolt it on (I didn't look up bumper covers - they probably have those in the right color as well) . . I figured it would be impossible to find body parts BUT the bumper covers and front fenders are the same as an M30 sedan (there were thousands of those in the USA) and so many in pearl white. this car was driven UNDER 2,500 miles per year, it NEVER sat around (that is not good for a car) it was in use (just used very little) CLEARLY the owner of the car always had it garaged and it has no rust and the interior of the car looks absolutely beautiful (lighter and ashtray unused) I don’t think the backseat was ever used, the car shows VERY well, paint looks all original (has minor touchup paint here and there), it is very shiny with deep good shine, not perfect paint, but VERY VERY good. the keyword here is ORIGINAL (thats why I didn't replace the fender) I wanted the buyer to see its "estate fresh" and untouched, this is a beautiful the car. it has a great presence. it’s features a 3.0L V6. automatic transmission. p.win - p.locks - p.brakes - p.steering - p.antenna - tilt wheel - cruise control - airbag - factory alloys - power top - rear wheel drive - the list goes on and on . . . . .the heat works fine the AC (is too cold to test), the original radio was replaced with a Sony unit , it has two original keys and the original owners manuals in their original box was found in the trunk along with the tonneau cover for the top and a custom dash pad, it's sold with a clean / clear Connecticut title & bill of sale, CLEAN CARFAX REPORT NO ACCIDENTS NO ISSUES the top is FULLY power. you touch the "top down" button and its ALL automatic . . . the four windows lower. . . the top unlocks by itself and opens and closes in one fluid motion. today I took it through the car wash and asked the attendant if I could sit in the car to see if it leaked . . . . I was AMAZED NOT A DROP CAME IN! ! ! ! the original floor mats are here but a bit faded, all logos and trim are present and in great shape, I THINK the canvas top is original (ABSOLUTELY NO LEAKS) plastic window has lots of light scratches and is kind of puckered in spots on either side of rear window (but they smooth out if you touch them) . . there are a few minor things to mention like there is a small section of the dash is raised a bit (barely noticeable), the trunk struts probably should be replaced, and the tires are just ok . . . . the car is located in Norwalk, Connecticut. 06851, $750 PayPal deposit required at end of auction, vehicle must be paid for within 48 HOURS OF AUCTION END we will assist with shipping arrangements (National or International) - upon receipt of payment, we will overnight the title, bill of sale and paperwork to you within 48 hours. we have access to some VERY reasonable shippers we can handle booking and meeting the shipper. "General information on the Infiniti M30" The Infiniti M30 was powered by a 3.0 liter SOHC V6 which produced 162 hp at 6,000 rpm, and 4-speed automatic transmission - standard equipment included a driver's airbag, anti-lock brakes, an anti-theft security system with an engine immobilizer, Nissan Sonar Suspension II, and leather upholstery, electric mast antenna, automatic climate control, cruise control, power moon roof, power windows, power locks, and power mirrors. Infiniti emphasized comfort and luxury, as well as simplicity. the convertible was introduced for the 1991 model year. all convertibles originated as coupe models, and were shipped to California directly from Japan and converted by American Sunroof Corporation (ASC). the electric canvas top featured fully automatic push-button operation. unlike the coupe, the M30 convertibles utilized manual climate controls, the convertible model was never officially sold in Japan, and was exclusive to the US market, convertibles have been imported to Japan in the last few years by collectors. all M30s were equipped with a Jatco RE4R01A 4-speed automatic transmission. the differential was a Nissan open R200 unit. it was a smooth, powerful drive train, which Infiniti touted in its brochures for the M30, Infiniti marketed the M30 as a luxury sports car. like the Nissan Maxima, the M30 was equipped with Nissan's Sonar Suspension II. using a sonar sensor mounted underneath the front bumper that scanned the road surface ahead of the vehicle, it would instantly change damping based on varying road surfaces, using individual actuators on each shock absorber a center console-mounted switch allowed drivers to choose between Comfort (soft) and Sport (firm) suspension modes. the M30 convertible has a cult following similar to that of the Nissan Leopard F31 built in Japan. The car shares many similarities with Nissan sports cars, such as the 240SX, 300ZX and early-generation Skylines. as such, more powerful engines, manual transmissions, suspensions and limited slip differentials from these cars can be swapped into the M30 to create a much more capable car. In both the U.S. and Japan, the M30 / Leopard has been used for drifting. this is more so in America based on the drifting trend. The Nissan Leopard as well as Infiniti M30 (especially the convertibles) are highly prized in Japan GOOD LUCK BIDDING ! ! ! ! ! . . . .YOU WILL NOT FIND ANOTHER ONE OF THESE FOR SALE ANYWHERE ! ! ! ! !
