Hey guys, I've got a 1999 Isuzu VehiCROSS for sale. I bought this truck a few months ago because I've always wanted one, but unfortunately I need a slightly more conventional spare vehicle. Since I got it its been excellent, but its 20 years old and has 320k miles on it so it needs some things. The truck is ebony over red interior. I'd generally call the condition 'very good for its age, mileage, and location'. The seats have some thin spots, though the rears are like new. The dash is really nice, the door panels are good but have some cracks. On the outside, it has two dents in the rear hatch area on the pillar (pictured). Theres only one other real spot of rust I can find on the body, and its by the right front turn signal. The paint could use a good buff and wax, but it looks to be in okay shape. The plastic trim I was going to paint, but even just hitting it with some Back to Black improves it a lot. The wheels are the stock ones, and the tires are BFG All Terrain TA KO2s in 265/75/16 with less than 500 miles on them. They're about the best tires you can get in my experience, so thats a plus. Underneath, its surprisingly good! I've included a few general pictures underneath, but eBay only lets you have 12. If you want more pictures I can take more. Its not perfect under there, because its got 320k and this is Rhode Island, but its certainly better than most. The engine runs great, transmission shifts into all gears and works as I would expect it to. The TOD system is hit or miss...sometimes the check light flashes, the indicators for how much power its sending to each wheel doesn't seem to work right, but the system appears to work. Last time it snowed I went up a hill with it and you could see the 4wd working from the outside. 4 low works perfectly, shift it into low and away you go. Parking brake holds too, which is unusual for vehicles I've owned. Here's the issues with it: The driver's side window doesn't go up and down, I'm told its the motor but I don't know for sure. The passenger side window is slow going up and down as well, but it works. The A/C kinda works I guess? Around town not really, but on the highway it makes cold air. I believe it to be an issue with whatever controls the fan to turn on, because if you jumper the fan it works and then the A/C works. Check engine light comes on occasionally for the EGR valve. Needs exhaust work. When I got it the exhaust was a war crime...24 clamps from cat to exhaust tip, plus the muffler was just blown out. I cut all that off and mounted a muffler (still using more clamps than I would like at 4, but its on there), but it'll need at least a tailpipe to be made for it. I was going to just toss a hanger and a turndown on it, but thats me. Not sure how I forgot, but the PO did some, uh...interesting work on the hood, as you can see. Apparently the front lip of it rotted so he made a new one and put a shower handle on it for some reason? I don't know. Its solid and I've seen worse things, but I was planning to replace the hood. The truck will come with three boxes of spare parts, including a starter and an alternator, another set of center caps, and some odds and ends. I've got two sets of keys with two keyless entry fobs, one of which works great and one of which works kinda. Rhode Island doesn't title vehicles older than 2001, so what you'll get from me is the current Rhode Island registration. I've sold vehicles out of state plenty of times on a RI reg and I've never had an issue, but do check with your local DMV. RI does offer a piece of paperwork I can get in lieu of a title, so if you need that let me know. I think I've covered the truck pretty well, but I'm absolutely sure I've missed something, so if you think of anything at all shoot me a message. I'd be more than happy to show the truck to anybody who's close enough to see it, again just message me to set up a time. Thanks for looking.

This is 2000 VehiCROSS I purchased in California in 2011. Engine runs great, A/C blows cold, Traction On Demand (TOD) works as well does the 4WD. I put new shocks and manifold gaskets on when I bought it in 2011. Does leak oil from the valve covers so you will see it "burn off" the engine sometimes. Overall, for a 19 year old vehicle the body, interior and engine are still solid. 2001 Isuzu Vehicross- Only: 48,574 Miles !! Check out this RARE 2001 Isuzu Vehicross SUV. ONLY: 48,574 Miles!!! 3.5L V6 good for a still-healthy 215 horsepower and 230 lb-ft of torque, the Vehicross packs a rather advanced 4WD system. Under normal conditions, the system operates in rear-drive mode, but as conditions demand, torque is automatically transferred to the front axle to provide maximum grip. A display in the instrument cluster shows the driver how much torque is being routed to the front. One key difference between this and other automatic 4WD systems is that TOD uses a dedicated electronic control unit to oversee the process and draws upon input from 12 different input sensors. This collective input is continually compared to a preprogrammed 3D software map that determines how much torque to distribute to each axle, based on such parameters as vehicle speed, wheel speeds, and accelerator pedal angle, to monitor either actual or potential tire slippage. In this way, the system can actually begin correcting for traction loss before it's even occurred. For more demanding conditions, a low-range transfer case also is provided. This is equipped with an automatic transmission, A/C, Power Windows, Power Locks, Power mirrors, CD & Cassette player, rear defrost, and so much more. With just 4,153 of these reaching the United States between 1999-2001 and Only 368 being made in Proton Yellow, this truly is a rare find!!
