I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that... I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the nearly 80 photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is an exceptionally nice 2000 Jaguar S-Type. I would rate the exterior of this Jaguar to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking sedan. It is finished in silver over black leather interior, which is a good color combination. The silver finish shines nicely and looks smooth all around. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, you'd be hard pressed to find anything to complain about as you walk around the exterior of this Jaguar. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the trim and moldings are present and show well. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a matching set of Continental tires with good tread all around. Pride in ownership shows throughout this Jaguar. Please take your time and check out each of the photos to see how clean this Jag came in! I purchased this car, drove it 70 miles straight to my warehouse and pulled it straight in for pictures without washing it, vacuuming it...or anything. I would also rate the interior of this Jaguar to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The carpets are thick and full looking throughout the interior. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The leather trimmed seats are clean, comfortable and show virtually no wear. Wood accents throughout the interior give the cabin a warm feel. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors, and sunroof all work properly. The audio system is original and sounds great through the factory speakers. There are steering wheel audio controls and a CD changer in the glove box. Rear seat room is ample and the trunk is spacious and clean. As I said earlier, pride in ownership shows throughout this Jaguar. This Jaguar comes with a full set of factory floor mats, the original owner's books, the original touch up paints, two master keys, two remotes, one valet key, and even has a Jaguar battery in the trunk! Someone took great care of this Jag and it shows throughout every inch of her. Mechanically, this Jaguar appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 3.0L V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. This S-Type is an absolute pleasure to drive. I should know...I've personally put the last 500 miles on it with absolutely no issues. There are only two things I could find wrong with the whole entire car. One is that the traction light flashes constantly. I don't know why, but it doesn't seem to have any impact on how the car drives. I've driven this Jaguar all over the place and would drive it anywhere without a second thought. The other thing is that you can hear a very slight exhaust leak. All in all...not much to fault an older Jag for. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. She cruises effortlessly at 90mph and drives like a dream. If you're looking for probably the best deal on the planet on a used luxury car, you should take a serious look at this Jaguar. It has been completely reliable, drives like a dream, comes with all keys and books, and is still rocking a Jaguar battery. You don't get much more used car for your buck than this.
