This Rx-8 is being sold as is. Exterior and interior of the car in good condition. The major problem with this car is that once it starts running it will shut down after a few minutes. This is a mint condition 100% STOCK ADULT OWNED Mazda RX-8 with LOW miles only 82k miles (will go up gradually as I enjoy this vehicle on the weekend still). 6 speed manual transmission with a great clutch. No oil leaks anywhere as well as very low oil consumption (1/4 quart every 1000 miles (this is normal of the oil injection system on these rotary engines)) GREAT compression! This vehicle was purchased to go into my small collection of vehicles that all have low mileage great condition sports cars. only selling because I would like to get a different piece for my collection. the only problems with the vehicle are:3 small-medium door dings4 small hail spots on roof and hood. small bra rash on the top of the bumper that could be repairedTPMS sensor is bad and randomly turns the light on every now and then. Tires have great tread lifeZERO no start, hard start, cold start, or hot start issues. I have never experience any "normal" RX-8 issues with this vehicle and hope to see it go to a good home. I bought this car several years ago as a non-running vehicle. I had another 2002 rotary engine ready to drop in it, and did so. If you've never driven a rotary engine, they similar to a motorcycle (high rev limit and torque band is high as well). The problem is that they consume oil to lubricate the rotars. Reservoir capacity is small (a couple quarts), so you need to check the oil level often. Long story short - I didn't check it enough. It's been sitting in my garage for a couple of years and I need to get rid of it. It is a low miles vehicle and the title is clear, but it has an accident history with the previous owner (it show's my transaction with it in Texas as accident history, but it was only an engine swap). So, if you have a rotary engine or have a rebuilder near you, this is an excellent chassis to build on.
