I reserve the right to refuse your transporter if they don’t give me sufficient notice. This is usually not a problem but lately I’ve been having shippers either give me an hours notice or just plain showing up unannounced. If your shipper does not have the required equipment to load his own truck (example: shows up with an enclosed box trailer and no ramps) and requires the assistance of my storage facility to load, the vehicle may be subject to loading charges (typically $75). This charge should be assumed by the unprepared trucker however if he refuses to pay we reserve the right to either turn him away or call you to approve payment of the additional charge. Due to weight and hazmat requirements, most shippers require vehicles to have less than 1/8th of a tank of fuel in them prior to shipping.
