I bought this MINI and we went through the car from front to back getting it into the kind of quality car that we wanted to sell. Everything we have done will carry a 12month/12k mile warranty with Total MINI and BMW. There are some common things that go wrong with this Gen MINI that have been done including waterpipe and thermostat, timing chain, valve stem seals, updated valve cover,,oil service, battery, front brakes including rotors, oil stand gaskets, control arm bushings, strut mounts, We didn't stop at the major mechanical either, Replaced the commonly broken sunvisors, new sunshades, third brake light, cowl panel, brake flush, all wipers, polished headlights and a few misc. trim panels. Tires are like new. Basically, everything we saw wrong with the car we fixed. It has 87k miles on it and is ready to hit the road or send your kid to college in. It can be test driven or seen anytime between 8-5:30 I promise you won't find one that has been put into this kind of shape on Ebay or anywhere else...

This is a great little car. Wish I did not have to sell it but I got a new car and it's just sitting now. There are a few external flaws (back bumper, dent in rear passenger side door) but it it generally in good shape. Like all Mini's it leaks oil and full disclosure, an O2(oxygen) sensor needs to be fixed and the brake indicator light stays on because of a broken sensor (nothing is wrong with the breaks). I'm including the roof rack system if you want it.

I purchased this 2009 Mini Cooper S stock in 2012 with 44,500 miles. All modifications where installed and done by Mini of Tempe as a package deal. It's a base model S; the only thing I may have missed was having cruise control a few times but otherwise it probably made the car lighter. Mini will be sold with no longer available and harder to find Alta/Cobb R56 AccessPORT ECU Tuner. The car does need some routine maintenance before it is to be raced or tracked for any extended period of time. During my last visit to Motorwerks Mini they suggested a new shaft seal for the transmission and a new cylinder head cover (these are made of plastic). I have all documentation. Car will need new tires and alignment, perhaps by next Spring.Also, when modifications where made the tech didn't take into account that an (aluminum) A/C line would need to be altered. This aluminum A/C pipe would need to be replaced in order to get cool air. Heat works fine. Otherwise, car runs fine; I've had zero problems with it in 6 years besides a water pump recall that was addressed. I preferred not to drag race the Mini but applying power above the 2000rpm range (at speed). The clutch is still strong.
