Hello and welcome to another eBay listing from Short Motor Company! This is a very clean 1997 Mitsubishi Montero SR 4x4 with only 63k original miles. This rare truck has the 3.0L V6 engine backed by a 4-speed automatic transmission. White and silver paint with gray cloth interior. Since this truck has the rare SR package, it includes factory running boards, fender flares, huge sunroof, and much more. As you might expect for such a rare vehicle with such low miles, this truck does have an interesting story. There has only been 1 owner of this truck since new. He is now the General Manager of a local new car dealership. However, back in 1997 when this truck was new, he was living in Puerto Rico and President of an auto import business there - specializing in the importation of Japanese vehicles. You can already see where this is going. He had this truck imported for himself and kept it there in Puerto Rico until 2010 when he moved to Texas and brought it with him. Since the truck's arrival in Texas it has been driven very little and was only used as a spare vehicle. This truck has never been listed for sale anywhere until now, and it is only available right here. Any potential buyer is welcome to inspect it and test drive it. You are bidding on my 2002 Mitsubishi Montero. it has 160k miles Runs great, 3 row seating all super clean for its age. Only issue is check engine light comes on and off rendomly. From taking this to a shop it seems like it is just a fuel filter. truck makes no noise and rides great. I am getting rid of this as I just got a brand new truck. Only thing it needs is a oil change. tires have good tread left. Everything in the Car Works (back hatch sticks sometimes but works)!!! Clean title, clean Carfax.
