For sale is very rare 1998 Black/Black Oldsmobile Aurora with only 77k miles in 100% original condition. Since I first saw it in 1995 at the age of 10, I fell in love with the design of this car. It is one of a few cars on the market that has beautiful front, rear, and side design! I've been looking for this exact Black on Black with low miles everywhere in the US for a few years now. I finally found this beautiful 1998 aurora that belonged to a governor of Bartlett IL, 1 owner, beautiful exterior, clean interior, drives like a new car, even smells like a new car still, as hilarious as it sounds!!! The engine passed head gasket test, coolant stays under pressure. There are no errors on the dash, transmission shifts smoothly, there are no vibrations, and car keeps straight line on a highway. It appears to be garaged since day 1, so Chicago's climate did not do much damage to the metal, as the car has been dry most of the time. There is some surface rust on suspension components underneath, but no rust on the body, and no holes anywhere. I was going to completely restore this car to a new condition and keep this beautiful classic for the rest of my life, but I just don't have time to do it. I love everything about this car and I'd like to preserve it. Ideally I'd like to sell it to someone who can appreciate this rare example and not trash it. For sale is stunning 1999 Oldsmobile Aurora with 45k mile with rare Black/Black color combo. This is 1 Owner car, belonged to CA Disney producer that had passed away in Feb 2018 (message for more details). The car is in great used cosmetic and mechanical condition. Everything works, no rust anywhere. I bought this car to restore to brand new condition and drive on special occasions, but unfortunately I don't have time to enjoy it. The car had passed headgasket test, and mechanically it drives like new. I bought this car last year but never registered it, it has been stored. This car has 72K actual miles and a clean title. It also has over 100 more photos in the Flickr on the bottom of the ad. This is a one owner car with an extremely high AutoCheck score and has never been in an accident. This is really a nice car, not something you see everyday and definitely don't see for sale much. You can see this car has been well cared for from the inside and outside and mechanically it runs 100%. The power sunroof works correctly, the AC blows ice cold, all power options operate 100% and all books come with the car. The tires, exhaust, front end, the engine and transmission are all in good shape. The brakes stop fine but the one sensor on one side is giving a signal that its going to need front pads. This car was rustproofed when it was new, and there were holes drilled into the doors to stop rust, and you can see by the pictures that it is very clean. There was a spot of rust touched up on the top of the rear quarter wheel well on the driver's side. The trunk is 100% solid, the motor compartment is all in nice shape, and there are pictures of the underneath of the vehicle so you can see how solid the floors and frames are also. When you start this car up, it sounds fantastic, and when you drive it down the road, there's not a rattle. The radio sounds good, and it's a pleasure to drive and be in. Oldsmobile built the Aurora as a luxury family sports car, and that's exactly what you'll be getting if you're the last highest bidder when the auction ends in a week. Unless otherwise stated in the vehicle description, the vehicle is being sold “as-is”, with no warranty. I try to accurately and fairly describe any known mechanical or cosmetic issues. However, as with any vehicle, mechanical or other failures may occur from time to time, and I cannot represent or warranty that they will not. You are responsible for any repairs made after the sale. 1.3. Mileage May Vary Slightly. I indicate the mileage of each vehicle at the time of listing. Please note that actual mileage may be slightly higher at the time of the end of the auction and/or delivery as the vehicle may be driven while the auction is underway. 2. Bidding on the Vehicle 2.1. Ready to Bid? If you’re ready to bid, great! Please keep in mind a few requirements and courtesies. Please intend to, and be ready & able to (financially and otherwise), complete the purchase of the vehicle within the timeframes set out herein. Participating just for sport without the intention to complete the transaction is unfair to me and to other users, and it wastes a lot of time and money. I may obtain the registered information of users participating in my auctions, and may filter or cancel any bids in my discretion. 2.2. I May End An Auction Early. "Buy it now" auctions may end at any time if the buy it now feature is exercised or a "best offer" is accepted. I seldom end "no reserve" auctions early. However, I reserve the right to end any auction without notice at any time for any reason in my sole discretion. 3. Completing the Transaction 3.1. Contact Me. If you are the winning bidder, congratulations! You must contact me within 24 hours of the end of the auction to make arrangements for the completion of the transaction. Many of my auctions end well after normal business hours, so sending me a message through eBay is generally the best way. 3.2. Pay a Deposit. You must also pay a non-refundable $500.00 deposit via PayPal within 24 hours after the end of the auction to secure the vehicle. 3.3. Pay the Balance Due. You must pay the remaining balance due (plus applicable fees and taxes – please see 3.5, below) within 7 days after the end of the auction. 3.4. Payment Methods. I accept wire transfers, cashier's checks, and cash in person (under $10,000 only for cash). I accept PayPal for the payment of deposits only. All funds must be in US dollars. 3.5. Fees and Taxes. 3.5.1. Dealer Fee. I charge a $299 dealer fee, which will be added to all transactions. This includes winning bids, buy it now prices, and best offers accepted. I don't make exceptions for other licensed dealers. A dealer fee covers administrative papwerork and overnight postage as well as detailing fees for each vehicle. 3.5.2. Sales Tax. 3.5.2.1. Maryland Buyers. I am required to collect sales tax at the rate applicable in your county at the time of sale. 3.5.2.2. Out-of-State Buyers. If you have the vehicle shipped to your location, we do offer very cheap shipping. I do not collect any sales tax; you will be responsible for paying your state's sales tax directly. 3.5.3. Tag & Title. 3.5.3.1. Maryland Buyers. I am required to handle your tag and title work, and I collect an estimate of those costs at the time of sale, which range from $150 to $400 depending on your specific situation. . I do not make any money on tax, tag, registration and title fees I collect. 3.5.3.2. Out-of-State Buyers. I will provide you with the vehicle's title, and you will be responsible for handling the tag and title work in your state. 3.6. Exchange Documents and Signatures. There are, unfortunately, paperwork requirements for completing the transaction, which vary depending on whether you are from out-of-state or not. These will be discussed when you contact me initially. 3.7. If You Fail to Pay or Communicate with Me. I expect the transaction to go smoothly. However, if you fail to (i) make contact with me, (ii) pay the deposit, (iii) provide me with required signatures/documents, or (iv) pay the remaining balance (including applicable fees, taxes, and charges), within the timeframes set forth herein, I reserve the right to keep your deposit and re-list the vehicle or otherwise sell it as I see fit, without notice, in my sole discretion. I also reserve the right to report the issue to eBay in my sole discretion. 4. Take Delivery of Your New Vehicle 4.1. Shipping. It is frequently less expensive to have a vehicle shipped to your location than it is to fly in and drive it back, and certainly more hassle-free. I can assist you in finding a shipper and can get very competitive shipping quotes. I assume no responsibility for damage to the vehicle incurred after it leaves my premises. Your vehicle will be available to ship out once full payment is received and has cleared; I send out titles once payment has cleared and all other paperwork requirements of the transaction are completed.
