Vehicle Description Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that...I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2004 Saab 9-5 Arc. I would rate the exterior of this Saab to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking sedan. It is finished in Silver Metallic over Tan leather interior, which is a good color combination. The Silver Metallic finish shows well for its age and looks smooth all around. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the trim and cladding is present and shows well. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in nice rubber. Tire tread is on the thin side of average. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. I would also rate the interior of this 9-5 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpet shows a few marks from age but is not excessively worn. The leather seats also show some normal wear, but are acceptable. The dash and headliner are clean. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all work properly...except the front passenger's seat, which does not appear to slide back and forward. The audio system has been upgraded with an aftermarket touch screen head unit, which appears to be working properly and sounds good through the factory speakers. The climate control system is fully automatic and also appears to be working properly. It is too cold to confirm that the air conditioner is cooling effectively, but I can tell you that the heater works well. The cargo area is spacious and clean. Wood accents throughout the interior give the cabin a rich, warm feel. As with any older vehicle, it could use a little cleaning to look its best. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this Saab appears to be in good running and driving condition. The turbocharged 2.3L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not notice any leaks or smoking. Her road manners are good for an older vehicle. The suspension feels tight and well sorted...just some minor bushing wear evident. Steering and braking feel good, too. I did notice that she pulls a little to the right, but nothing horrible. When you replace the tires, I'd just have the alignment done and that should take care of it pulling to the right side. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. The turbo spools up quickly and adds noticeable power. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. If you're looking for a solid sedan to rack up miles on, a Saab 9-5 is an excellent choice. They are tough cars that make plenty of power yet still get a remarkable 30mpg on the highway.
