Why Buy New? I don’t know whether to drive or put two pop-tarts in it but here’s a great looking little Scion xB that has been very well-kept and is ready to drive anywhere. The 2.4L 4-cylinder is great on gas, runs smooth with good pep and no puddles underneath and no warning lights illuminated on the dash. The transmission shifts smooth through the gears, brakes and suspension feel great and it’s sitting on a like-new set of matching tires as well. There is NJ inspection through 9/20. The interior is very clean with nice upholstery that doesn’t show any rips, tears, or burns, no bad odors are detectable and the headliner is clean and tight. All the power options work as they should and the carpets are clean with original mats. The body looks like a little toaster oven but it’s darn near perfect with shiny silver paint, no dents, no signs of rust and only a handful of nicks, dings, scratches, and a few small cracks on the front bumper (see picture). If you were looking for an affordable newer model car without breaking the bank, this one will be sold with no reserve so thanks for looking and good luck with the auction. The majority of our cars come from the local new car dealerships just as they are traded from their previous owners. We sell exclusively on eBay auction to other dealers and the general public and advertise them in their as-is state as we would sell to another used car dealer. We have since sold over 6000 cars in this fashion. As is the case with all our cars, we don’t clean them, we don’t repair them, and try to describe them to the best of our ability. We don’t pull the wheels to check the brakes but drive them to determine what we feel is wrong. If dash lights are on, we tell you and if they are not on and come on for you on your trip home, it is your responsibility as our cars are sold AS-IS. If you should encounter a major problem, we are here to help you and won’t leave you in the lurch but will not be responsible for minor cosmetic or mechanical defects that come with being an as-traded used car. Wholesale & Prior to Re-Conditioning The cars you see on our eBay auctions are what we would call “raw trade-ins” from the new car dealers. These are cars that have not been cleaned, have not been run through shops, and have not been repaired in preparation for a sale. Buying a car in this Wholesale Capacity allows you to buy the car for less money and me to do less work. There will be assumed costs on minor defects and routine-maintenance items that come with being used. If you are receptive to buying a car in this fashion, the savings are yours. Because we sell our cars all over the world and in every state, inspections are not guaranteed in any state as each state differs in their requirements so it is virtually impossible for us to guarantee inspection. Administrative Fee We have sold over 5000 cars on eBay in the last six years and have never charged any fees. However, the cost of doing business recently has skyrocketed out of sight and we are forced at this time to ask for a nominal $75 fee on top of the price of the car sold and any motor vehicle fees. I truly apologize for this change in policy however the cost of doing business and the increasing number of no show bidders dictates this moderate administrative fee. Motor Vehicle & Issuing of Plates Within walking distance of our car lot, there is a Pennsylvania-state motor vehicle agent that will issue Pennsylvania license plates and out-of-state temporary 60 day plates. They will accommodate all our customers within their normal business hours which are 9-5PM on weekdays and on Saturdays from 9-12PM, same as our hours. You can of course bring your own license plates / temporary tags if your state allows. It is mandatory that if you need plates you bring with you your drivers license and your insurance card for your present car. Names, addresses and dates must be valid on both items.
