I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that... I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the nearly 80 photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2005 Subaru Outback Limited with the hard to find 3.0L six cylinder engine. I would rate the exterior of this Subaru to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking wagon. It is finished in white and gray two tone over tan leather interior, which is a nice color combination. The white finish shines nicely and looks smooth all around. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, you'd be hard pressed to find much worth complaining about as you walk around the exterior of this wagon. The worst I can say about the exterior of this Legacy Limited is a visible scrape mark on the side of the rear bumper cover. The body lines are all nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the trim and cladding is present and shows well. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of matching rubber with good tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this well optioned Legacy Limited came in. As with nearly all of my vehicles, how you see this Legacy is exactly how it came in. I didn't even wash it. I would also rate the interior of this Legacy Limited to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The carpets show well for their age and are not worn excessively. The leather trimmed seats are power operated and heated. The seats are clean, comfortable and show virtually no wear. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The audio system is original and sounds great through the factory speakers. The factory Momo steering wheel also has integrated audio controls. The climate control system is fully automatic and offers independent temperature settings for the driver and passenger. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. Pride in ownership shows throughout this Legacy. She comes with a full set of original owner's books, three keys and two remotes. The cargo area is spacious, clean and comes with the original Subaru protective mat. The panoramic sunroof really opens up the interior and gives this wagon a spacious feel. Mechanically, this Legacy appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 3.0L six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older wagon. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. If I'm being picky, you can feel some wear in the front bushings over harsh surfaces. Otherwise, she feels completely composed. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels smooth. This engine option alone cost more than you'll probably pay for the entire car!!! The six cylinder engine feels great and is very powerful. When I got this Legacy in, the check engine light was on for catalyst efficiency. I didn't think that there was an issue so I cleared the code in case it was a fluke. As of writing this description, I've put another 200 miles on this Legacy Limited and no lights have come back on. However, I wanted to let you know in the interest of full disclosure. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts normally with zero issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. The AWD system is tested and working properly. These are very tough and very capable vehicles. Subaru AWD gives you the confidence to brave weather that would keep lesser vehicles at home. This Legacy is a pleasure to drive and I would drive it anywhere without hesitation.
