I'm letting go of my commuter car. It's a clear title 2014 Toyota Yaris LE, 4-door hatchback. I'm the 2nd owner. I purchased it in 2015 at Dick Hannah Honda here in Vancouver, WA. It's a large reputable dealership, and the car is a solid performer. It was stock at the time of my purchase, and although the performance was reliable, the styling needed a little help.I had it professionally lowered 1.5" with TEIN S-tech springs. It's labor intensive to drop the rear end, but the look and performance is well worth it. Speaking of performance, it's definitely no drag car in a straight line, but it has go-kart handling. The drop lowered the center of gravity a little which helps, but everyone who drives, know it's wheels and tires that make the difference. No exception here, as the handling is dramatically improved by the 16"x 7" Motegi wheels and especially the 215/40/16 Pirelli P Zero Nero tires. Additional styling is found in the professionally installed, extra dark tint (no fish bowl bubbles), and can be heard through the Tanabe Medallion axle back exhaust. The exhaust adds no power, but a cool little rumble announces your arrival, and it looks much better than the typical rusted factory tip. It rained this morning, so please excuse the quality of the photos. I used to have a long daily freeway commute, so the miles are kinda high, but I'm a car guy and have taken quality care of this ride. I switched to synthetic oil, and have done it personally every 5k miles. I've installed a Fumoto valve for quick and easy oil draining. I don't have the commute anymore, so my daughter has just been cruising this around town lately. Which brings us to the 1 negative regarding this car. It was involved in a minor accident. Only a 10mph touch to the front, but it dented the front bumper, hood, and driver's side front quarter panel and headlight. Nothing mechanical was damaged, I've got all the paperwork from the repair shop. The positive result from the accident is that the car received a new Toyota factory hood and bumper. The originals had numerous scratches and dings, from my commuter days I guess, but the new ones are smooth as glass. And once again, this car has a clear title, no branding or salvage. It's been a great car for me, I just don't need it anymore. Feel free to ask questions prior to purchase. If you Buy It Now, a $500 non-refundable Paypal deposit is due within 48hrs. The balance will be due in Cash or Certified Bank Check. The car is located in Vancouver, WA. I listed it as the buyer's responsibility to arrange pickup or shipping, but I'm pretty easy going and would be willing to make arrangements to get the car to you, pretty much anywhere in the Pacific Northwest. If you need cross country delivery, you need to contact a carrier, but I'd be willing to drop it off at any local shipping place. This is all contingent on payment in full being received. I'm not trying to get scammed. I would prefer to do the exchange at a local police dept, anywhere in the PNW, for everyone's protection.
