Selling my 2001 acura cl for cheap it needs some body work and paint tires and and driver seat is ripped look at pics and rear seat upper is ripped it has low miles but needs a radiator car was in a fender bender i replaced the left headlight the radiator support has a bend look at pics. And FIRST to second gear slips when take off i think it needs a transmission flush . it has carbon trunk i also have a carbon hood for it but has some clear coat damage.

For sale is 2002 Acura CL-Type S . Never in an accident. Always garaged. Very reliable.Interior and performance/driveability of this car is better than comparative cars half of its age. I am the third owner. Second owner had the car for 5 months. Majority of my run is on interstate I-55 Chicago- St Louis route.I own 3 Acura- CL-S, TL-S and RL. However, of the three , Acura CL-S is the best in terms of reliability, driveability and lowest monthly average maintenance cost. Here is my assessment of the car based on daily drive to work.Drivability- 10 out 10. Better than TL and even RL.Engine - 10 out of 10. I always use Mobil 1 synthetic oil -Extended performance with Acura OEM oil filter. Never have to top up engine oil between oil changesTransmission- 10 out of 10- Every 30,000 miles , I do 3 x 3 drain and fill using Acura ATF-DW1- Total about 10 quarts for 3 refills. No wear debris found in oil or on drain plug in last 3 x 3 fill. ATF color of drained oil was like new.AC- Very coldSeats- Very comfortable. During my ownership, nobody ever sat in the rear seats. For condition- See photosInterior- 9 out 10Tires- All 4 are Michelin Premier A/S tires with about 6/32” tread depth remaining at last rotation at Sam’s clubBattery- Little over one year old Duracell battery from Sam’s clubOriginal Bose radio with 6 CD changer works.Interstate run gas average is about 25 to 27 MPG with premium gasComes with One remote, Two keys and owner manual with radio codeSpare tire and standard tools in the trunkAll electricals work- Heated seats work in this car. Not in my other TL. All repairs done during my ownership areFuel tank replaced for fuel smellHood struts replaced.Cruise inoperative- Repaired- Known issue on CLMain fuel relay replaced for long crank but no start when soaked in summer heat. Known issue on CL. Now it starts on first crank every time even in Illinois winterWater valve replacedBrake switch at pedal replaced for not coming out of ParkPRNDL position display light bulb at shifter burnt Minor repairs neededClock light burnt. Clock works.Center console armrests moves up on bumps. However, since I place my arm as support on lid, did not need repair. Great car. Came into our shop for a transmission replacement. We installed a transmission from LKQ with only 90,000 miles on it. We also replaced the motor mounts and oxygen sensor. The owner could not afford the repairs and left the vehicle with us. After all the repairs it now runs like a champ. Ac blows cold air Heater works great for when it cools down Sunroof is nice All power windows doors and locks work We took the acura last week to the dealer to fix the airbag recall and they said the vehicle is in tip top shape. Email me with questions. Vehicle just passed smog and we paid the 606 fees for registration. The vehicle check shows three accidents which might explain the small dent in the front of the vehicle but other than that the vehicle looks nice for being 17 years old. Most surprisingly is the look on the inside. The original CL 3.2 mats are still in the vehicle and there are no cigarette burns or stains. We have invested about $3,000 into this vehicle and can provide the winning bidder with all invoices for warranty purposes.
