The 3.0-liter V6 is believed to be original to the car, and this engine was the crown jewel for the Honda/Acura family. That's because the engineers were allowed to build the engine they wanted. This meant race-ready features like titanium connecting rods and lightweight forged pistons. It created a fortified powerplant, which was perfect for this one's upgrades.
