Immaculate 2000 BMW 540i with Sport Package. Only 23,000 miles!!! Ultra rare car in this condition. One owner and always garage kept. Leather is in perfect condition and is not worn or shiny which is typical of high mileage models. Everything about this car seems to looks like it came out of the showroom expect for a few things: Cup holder is broken. Front bumper is pulled a little from parking too close to the curb. A little rash on rear bumper. All provided on the pictures. Has a few electrical issues that after scanning it at the dealership was deemed to be the electronic part of the ignition which should be a couple hundred to fix and has a service engine light on in relation to a sensor. However it drives super smooth. All lights work, including those on the dash that are typically burnt out. Brand new tires. 2 keys plus one mechanical. All original books. Clear and clean title. This 540i was one of the first BMW E39 sedans to be imported into the United States. The original owner lived in Los Angeles and had a very close relationship with the owner of Racing Dynamics, Inc. Racing Dynamics was founded in 1980 by Federico Pavoncelli as an Italian tuning company specializing in BMW automobiles. Federico invited his friend to supply the 540i shown below to participate in a prototype experience. It would be the first E39 in the world to have the infamous R48 package applied to it. As this car was one of the early-build U.S. imports, it came from the factory with the 5-speed automatic transmission. One of the first modifications was to import a brand new 6-speed transmission from Germany and install it in the car. After that over $25,000 was spent to install and test the R48 upgrade package. It has very low mileage for its age with the odometer reading just over 90k miles. Beautiful M-5 540I Beamer was well taken care just been through an lot, the side airbags deployed due to an rock hitting the tires and triggered the air bags just the side one are out and pretty much no needed as well. Car will crank over, will not start. Have been sitting my garage for 2 years, overall condition in shown in the pictures, has an side fender dent as well. Still has the five disc cd-changer in the trunk, nothing modified everything original. Selling AS IS based off the condition of the car. It has been garage, needing an little TLC or it can be used for parts.
