2000 BMW M5 Silver109,200 milesBlack Leather and Wood grain interiorI purchased this car in 2012 with 102k miles. It only comes out for the months of June, July and August and back in the garage it goes. It's originally a Texas car, not sure when it made it to New York, but it has never seen snow. No rust at all. The engine is stock with 6spd trans and it runs awesome. This is one of the funnest cars I've ever driven. Runs and drives perfect, still very tight handling. It comes with Dinan Mufflers which give it a great rumble It has a custom painted VIS Raing Sports full carbon fiber hood http://www.visracing.com/newcatalog/Bmw/5-Series/1997-2003-5-Series-E39/Hood-318/1997-2003-Bmw-5-Series-E39-4Dr-Gtr-Carbon-Fiber-Hood.html, with carbon fiber kidney grills which sets this off from other M5s. Xeon angel eyes headlight kit installed. New Master Cylinder and front brakes last summer.Air Conditioned serviced in early JulyCold Air intake, brand new in the box, never installed.Software and BMW 20pin to OBDII adapter and USB cable to connect to ECU via Virtualbox Virtual Machine image, which I will provide via file share. Needs attentionThis M5 has some of the common issues of the E39 generation- Rims are flaking, though there are no rash marks.- Inside rear view mirror and passenger mirror glass have become discolored- Instrument Cluster becomes pixelated as the outside temperature increases. I have the replacement ribbon to correct this, just have not been able to find the time to install it. - Seats are faded but no tears- Radio/GPS display is out, though radio works. My next purchase was going to be an Android Head Unit and new speakers. Stock sound system is pretty poor. - OBD connector under dash has not been able to link up with NY State emissions computer- Front tires have cracking in the tread line- Windshield washer sensor appears to be defective. - Scratch on driver door. (see pic)- Rear Shade arms stuck in upright position

Heralded at the time as the greatest all-around sports sedan, it still holds up as one of the best cars ever. Take a 4-some golfing in the morning, hit the track and compete with contemporary Corvettes and 911s in the afternoon. Stock 2003 e39 M5, Jet Black paint, black extended leather sport trim interior, with silver trim.Only modification is the tri-color grille. I have the stock grilles. 140,000 miles. Always dealer serviced. She gets an oil change every spring regardless of the vehicle service indicator, with Castrol TWS 10-60 as factory spec.I am the third owner, purchased with 120,000 miles.Previous owner replaced the engine at 80,000. Current engine has only 60,000 miles. No oil consumption issues.Clutch replaced at 120,000 miles prior to my purchase.Front lower control arms (4) replaced at 140,000, bushings were worn. This was done by an independent shop, with an alignment at BMW dealer.Service history outside of oil changes:7/14: Alignment7/14: Replaced hood sensor11/15: Replaced Driver door lock actuator11/15: Replaced power steering lines8/17: Front lower control arms and sway bars replaced with Lemfoerder parts by an independent shop9/17: Alignment (after control arms replaced)9/17: Airbag recall performed9/17: Fuel injection cleaning9/17: Brake fluid service - flush and refill9/17: Coolant service - flush and refill9/17: Power steering service - flush and refill I have never raced or been on a track with this car.Dashboard has all pixels working. Center console has all buttons working.Under my ownership, she's been a garage queen. Rarely out in the rain.Also comes with a set of mounted winter tires. She hasn't seen snow, but cold and icy conditions, those winter tires have been fantastic. The CD changer in the trunk is replaced with an iPod connection (Intravee II), integrated into the audio system and controllable through the center console as the CD changer was. Intravee II also allows for some more car / body controls (for example, I have the mirrors fold upon locking and opening up when the car starts). I have two keys for the car, both are rotated through usage, so they both have charged batteries in their fobs. I got married, life plans changed, and will miss this car greatly!
