This 2006 BMW M6 was purchased new in Illinois and resided there for 6 years under the first owner. Second owner purchased this car in 2013 with approximately 14000 miles and garage kept it in New Jersey until 2015. In 2015 I purchased this car with approximately 35000 miles. It has been garage kept and never driven in the winter under my ownership. The gearbox and engine have always been warmed up to operating temperature prior to driving. Power comes from a 500 horsepower V10 paired to a 7-speed SMG III gearbox. The car is equipped with a full Merino Leather interior, carbon fiber interior trim, HUD, enhanced premium sound with Sirius satellite radio, and the Comfort Access package, bringing the original MSRP to $106,690. Modifications include a carbon fiber front lip and rear carbon fiber trunk spoiler. This E63 M6 has a clean Carfax report and a clean New York title. This M6 is finished in Silver-Grey Metallic. A 3M clear bra is fitted to the front fascia, partial hood, partial fenders, and mirrors. The stock kidney grilles have been replaced with a set of black carbon fiber grilles. The original chrome grilles come with the car along with the silver-grey metallic front license plate holder. The M6 is equipped with model-specific fascias and rocker covers. The M6 also features thermoplastic front fenders, light weight Carbon Fiber roof panel, aluminum doors, aluminum hood, and an aluminum front/rear sub-frame. The cabin is upholstered in black leather with a leather dash, carbon fiber trim, and suede head liner. All interior features work correctly, including the A/C. 52,890 miles are shown and an optional heads-up display is equipped. The bars displayed next to the current gear number are settings for how quickly the gearbox changes gears. When traction control is turned off the fastest possible shift setting becomes available as a sixth bar. In this setting the SMG III gearbox comes to light delivering quick brutally aggressive shifts that throw you back into the seat. The (M) button on the steering wheel puts the car into Msport mode. When pushed the steering instantly becomes tighter, the suspension becomes stiff, and the brakes & throttle respond instantly to the driver inputs without any delay. The spark plugs, rear differential, brake fluid, and coolant have all been serviced within the last 20k miles. The most recent service was an oil change with Liqui Moly 10W60 & OEM filter within the last 100 miles. The only thing this car needs is new front set of Bridgestone Potenza S04 tires. If the new buyer is anyone like me, they are going to throw on their own favorite set of grippy tires as soon as they buy this.
