I believe in positive feedback so I am going to try my best to list everything here. First off I drive this car daily. The odometer reading will probably go up before it sells. I will start with the good points. It has a great transmission and shifts very smooth. It also has the manual over ride if you want to manually shift it which I never do. The seats are two tone leather and are in great condition. There are TV's in the back head rest of the sets. I never used them and do not even know how to do it. It has a sunroof that works and does not leak. Head lights and tail lights work. Once in a while the directional will stick and flash fast and sometimes it does not. Dash lights work and the check engine light has been on for about three years. I have never had a problem with emissons so I didn't do anything about it. Headliner is also in good shape. hood and tailgate are in good shape with a little surface rust on the edges. Fenders are in good shape. Doors are in good shape but have rust on bottom edges. Hard to see unless you get down low. It has power windows. The front windows work but backs sometimes do not. Back seats are in very good shape. Hardly ever used. Transfer case is good and so it the drive shaft. Frame is good. Now like I said I drive it every day but only in town and never get over 50 MPH. Once you get over 50 MPH you will detect a shake in the front wheel, I was told it was a ball joint . I have a brand new one and some other brand new suspension drive components that I will give you with this car. The reason is I was going to fix it but just inherited another SUV that is nearly new. The wiggle is from a ball joint or it needs a front end alignment. Do not know for sure. Since I drive it only in town it has not mattered to me. About a month ago I noticed the idle was not smooth. You can definitely tell when driving. there is a miss sometimes. I have not fixed the miss or misfire situation and am driving it like this, It comes and goes, I was told it is a bad ignition coil that I was also going to fix but I decided since I got this new SUV to just sell it. I figured someone would want it for parts or repair. The Engine and Tranny are each worth $1000.00 each on the resale market. Some of the other issues I will list here. If you are looking for a like new car this is not the one. However it is in pretty good shape considering its age. There is a headlight wash system on this car. One of the spray covers is missing and I have no clue how the headlight wash works. I never used it. It could use some new wiper blades. There is a crack running up and down on the far left of drivers side window. It does not obstruct view and I have been driving it like that for years. The heater works great and so do power seats. The cruise control does work and so does the air conditioning. The rust spots I can see are on the bottom of the door edges. Around the tailgate edges. around the one side marker light which I have in the pics. I broke the hood latch pull so I have to open it from the outside. To get into it I had to remove a hood pin so you only have one and the safety latch. Tires- I just ran them in the Wisconsin winter. We had a heck of a snowy winter here. Thank God for the AWD!! Probably was not very smart because it could use a new set of tires by next winter. Not much tread. If you get down on your belly and look at it from the rear you will notice the back tires have the classic old BMW SUV pigeon toe effect. I have been driving like that for years. One of the hood kidney grills is loose and if you pull it you can pull it out. I put the Silver high intensity headlights and bulbs on it. Carpets are good but could use a shampoo. There is also a spot on the top of the fender where the clear coat peeled off. It is about 6 inches by 2 inches. You will get an owners manual and clear title. It comes with a complete set of weatherguard floor mats including a cargo space floor mat from weatherguard. The rear wiper on the back window does not work but the rear and front defrost work good. It has Heated leather seats and steering wheel which is so nice in our cold Wisconsin winters. It has scratches and dings as you would expect from a used car. This is not a new car. You can pick this car up with a car dolly you can rent from uhaul or you can arrange shipping VIA carhauler which Ebay has a huge selection of. If you plan on driving it over 50 MPH I would have it towed until that front end issue can be addressed. If you are driving it home on back roads locally I guess you could take it that way as well but you will notice a shake over 50 MPH. I thought it would be worth thousands in parts because so much of this car is nice. I was going to part it out or sell it whole as a parts car but decided to do it this way in case a handy person wants to fix it and run it. If it does not sell here I will relist it under BMW parts. I do drive it every single day the way it is but would not recommend it. Here is another thing. I used to run Mobil 1 synthetic in this car. It would use oil between oil changes like all older BMW's are known for. Last year I changed it with Castrol Syntec and it does not use any oil. I cannot say enough about SYNTEC. I now have it in all my vehicles. Way better than Mobil 1 in European vehicles. Until the past year this car was highway driven all over the Midwest. My son is an actor and we had to go everywhere. That is how we put over 200K on it. 50 dollar deposit required upon winning.
