But this ain't no ordinary Estate Wagon. Although fast from the factory with a corvette LT-1 engine, there have been extensive engine, transmission, and suspension modifications as well as custom fabrication done to this car. $10,000+ was spent upgrading the car. You can hear it, and feel it, but the exterior looks stock otherwise. An absolute sleeper, and it is FAST! It is a really fun car to drive, just makes you smile. The interior is about a 9.8/10, nearly perfect. A couple of blemishes on the driver's side floor carpet is about it. It even has the original floor mats. Stereo works great and sounds surprisingly good for its age. No weird odors, no torn or worn seats. Recently serviced, oil changed, AC fixed, cracked header fixed, new battery, and everything works. Has the rear facing third row seats that kids love that can be folded down for a tremendous amount of cargo space. Sunroof, roof rack, almost new tires, doesn't burn any oil, and did I mention it's FAST? It also has tinted windows and a Satellite radio. If you do not know these cars take a look around. There are a few bumping around for sale, but none that I have seen with these kinds of upgrades. It's faster than my built 1972 Cutlass, and it's fuel injected, so no cranking to start. It fires right up. Own one of the top ten collectible cars for 2019. Pick up the kids, run errands, take road trips, then bracket race on the weekends. Hagerty has its value range as $13,300–$18,300. Selling from my personal collection of B-body cars is my 1995 Buick Roadmaster that I converted into a beautiful " Roadmaster SS". I have owner the car since the summer of 2017, only driven it maybe 500 miles, has been stored in a heated shop with the rest of my collection of B-body cars.Never seen the rain or snow, always been garaged and I currently have Grundy Collector car insurance at $10,000. I have a bunch of labor hours in this car and new parts, but I do all this as a hobby.I am not a car dealer and dont plan on making a bunch of money. A buyer who will enjoy, and take care of this Roadmaster is more important to me than money. I have been a member on the Impalassforum for almost 20 years. I got hooked in 1994 when the Police Dept I started my career with threw me the keys to a brand new blue 1994 Chevy Caprice 9c1 California package car. That was a fun, roomy car! I am going to list out some things, but I am sure I will forget some. Exterior:Paint is all original, except for the tops of both bumpers.I personally removed them and repainted them with high end Chromabase Dupont paint (only the top because the clear coat was getting thin). I have a paint booth and it was done correctly with Base/clear coat that matches perfectly.Car fax show this car has never been wrecked or damaged and it shows when looking at it. The original paint has no flaws, damages, scratches,hail dents,rust ect. Probably the best original paint car I have owned over the years.this car has "Zero" door dings, dents. I had custom "Roadmaster SS" side scripts made in clear, that are installed like the Impala ss cars. (See pic) A friend of mine, who is one of the best PDR guys in the Midwest, removed every tiny door ding on the entire car. The chrome trim corners are not scraped or damaged. The chrome side are perfect and the grey door trims are all there. Grill is perfect, has window tint on all 4 windows. Behind each rear wheel has zero rust as shown in pics, all original paint and metal. The exterior is way above any Roadmaster I have seen recently seen and car show quality. (see pics) Interior:Completely updated the interior. New Impala SS bucket seats with brand new front impala ss seat covers, Impala ss rear seat in perfect shape, removed all the door panels and installed all new round rollers on all four windows.I spent about 40 hours just on the door panels, they were not in bad shape, but I made them so they will never crack. I used Cadillac Fleetwood rubber door sound deadening in each door, plus the original Roadmaster padding. The door sound very solid when closing them, with very little road noise unlike the cars that are made today. Installed a factory Z-28 Cluster with matching green back lights with the exact mileage transferred from original roadmaster cluster, 1995 factory grey Blazer floor shifter with match green light, and bought a new GM original factory refurbished CD/Cassette radio with a "Blue tooth" function built into the factory radio. These are some nice custom options that look factory. All the night dash lights are the factory Roadmaster green color. The top dash is in perfect shape, no cracks, or paint issues. Carpet is almost perfect with no stains or major wear areas. Headliner is perfect, and the "C" interior trim panels were recovered in Grey headliner material. All the door switch chrome is in great shape, it has never been smoked in and it smells clean. Interior is almost perfect as shown in pics. Mechanical It has a stock LT1 engine, but this is a factory "tow pack" car. This option included HD cooling, posi rear end and 293 gear ration and a few other things. (the posi works)I have also added a few things. I installed a new Impala SS 2.5 turn ratio steering gear box with all new hoses, new Bilistein shocks, new slight stiffer rear springs. Also added rubber air bags inside the rear springs with the air nozzle inside the trunk area, if you decide to haul a ton of kids or luggage in the car. I added a new Stainless Steel 2.5 inch cat-back exhaust with Magnaflow SS mufflers, that is more on the quiet side at idle, but get slightly loud on acceleration. It has SS polished exhaust tips.Installed new brakes and rotors.The ball joints and steering components are tight. I replaced many of the hoses, changed all the fluids.The water pump and opti spark has been replaced with acdelco parts. The original owner had the local GM dealer do all the work. It has a brand new acdelco air conditioner compressor, ac hoses, orifice tube, and dryer. AC is ice cold, and heat is hot.It starts, runs, drives, shifts, stops with no issues. Has no noise and does not leak anything. Has Impala SS rims with custom made Buick center caps. The rims are way above average with no clear coat issues or curb rash, tire are in good shape with about 50 percent tread left. This car gets around 25 mph on the highway and 18 mph in town driving and has lots of power and torque from the Corvette based Lt1 engine. This Buick wagon was recently aquired from a gentleman who inherited it from his uncle. It was his pride and joy since new and used it to commute as a snowbird from TX to northern WI in the summer months. It currently has just under 69,900 original (no rebuilt engines) miles and may go up as we use it for car shows and ice cream runs. The car drives, handles and sails down the road with ease via the 5.7 L LT-1 350ci engine producing 260 H.P through true factory dual exhaust. The engine does not smoke, tick, knock or miss a beat. All the power options work on the car and all the windows work effortlessly as the plastic clips on the door regulators were a big issue with these cars. Air blows ice cold, and auto leveling shock in the rear still work and kick on the compressor when a load is put in the rear. Vehicle was not smoked in and interior is near flawless. The headliner has a few blemishes on the driver side rear window area from 1st owners dog being left in the car. The carpet has no stains or wear, and cargo are is mint and scuff free. 3rd seat looks like it was never sat in. The exterior of the car is extremely nice with no fading of the black painted racks, or weatherstrips. The stainless side pieces are very nice, original and scrape free. The bumper pad and rub strips are also very nice. Car has no dings or dents but has a small scuff in wood grain on tailgate and one on passenger front door, (no dents though). No rust bubbles starting anywhere. Car is a pleasure to drive and makes a great road trip vehicle, crowd pleaser at restaurants and if you have smaller children well good luck getting them out of the way back seat. This is my second Roadmaster and runs and drives as well as the 1996 with 38,000 miles I had a couple years ago that went into a car collection.
