1995 Cadillac Sedan deVille. One of the finest 1995 DeVilles to be found anywhere. The history of this remarkable car is as follows: Original owners were a couple (Donald and Dorothy) who owned & operated a small corner grocery store in Clarks Summit PA for many decades. They were old-school hard working people who lived modestly in an apartment above the grocery store. They rarely traveled and had no children; their only indulgence in life was to treat themselves to a new Cadillac every 10 years or so. Their Cadillacs had extremely low mileage because the Cadillac would only be used on special occasions and Dorothy did not drive. They would always buy their Cadillacs from Dorothy's brother who was one of the best known and most respected Cadillac salesman in the Scranton PA area for nearly five decades. Sadly Donald passed away in 2013 and for three more years Dorothy held onto the car despite the fact she couldn't drive. Finally a decision had to be made and ultimately we sold the car for her in early 2016. The car had 8,000 miles on it at the time. The second owners were a semi retired couple from New Jersey who needed a car to replace their Buick Park Avenue that had gotten totaled. They kept the car garaged in their condominium in NJ mainly using the car during the summer months as they spent winters in Florida where they have other vehicles. They are now selling the condominium in NJ which is why they had no further use of the Cadillac and so we purchased the car back. The mileage is now 36,000 and is 98% as perfect as it was when they bought the car in 2016. The condition of this car is easily in the top 1% of all 1995 Cadillacs. The paint is all original without a stitch or rust anywhere to be found. It is about as pristine as can be. The car was never smoked in and still retains the aroma of new Cadillac leather. All options and accessories are in perfect working order and the car is mechanically excellent. The tires & exhaust were still original in 2016 but these have since been replaced along with the brakes and usual mechanicals. Color is White Diamond Pearlescent (optional at extra cost) with Dark Claret Leather and factory painted pinstripe. Aluminum wheels have no damage other than some slight lifting of the protective laminate but hardly noticeable. MOST important of all is the car has the ultra reliable 4.9 Liter V8. This was the final year for the 4.9 liter and only installed in the base DeVille. Much more desirable than the Northstar engine of this era which had yet to be perfected. Simply put, it would be difficult to imagine a better car and better Cadillac in this condition, color combination and mileage for the price of $8,495.
