You are bidding on a 2014 Cadillac ELR. I'm assuming if you are looking at this auction you know this car. Original MSRP $75,000. Cadillac only produced about 2,800 of these. Car is in very good condition with no known issues. It does have a "rebuilt" title hence the much reduced price. I have owned the car for approximately 16 months and I love this car but I've now decided to purchase a new Tesla S. Gets compliments wherever you go. Drives perfect, true, straight, quiet and everything operates as it should. 35-40 miles on full electric charge, over 300 miles when it automatically switches seamlessly to the range extender gas engine. History of ownership is as follows. Owner 1 was the Cadillac Dealership that used car as a demo. Owner 2 from Texas had a front end collision that was coded as "light to moderate damage" and "no air bags deployed". Owner 3 was a GM Engineer that repaired the car and I purchased the car from him. Repair consisted of genuine GM black hood, left fender, front bumper, grill etc and assorted parts. No damage to mechanicals. I also had the rear bumper repainted to correct some minor nicks and scratches. Tires were replaced approximately 7,000 miles ago. I had the car aligned at a Firestone franchise and everything is perfectly withinn spec and I will include that report. All maintenance up to date. Needs nothing. Please be aware that although the car looks excellent and is close to new, it does have a few nicks etc, minor curb rash on rim, normal wear, etc that is commensurate with a car that is 5 years old and has 43,000 miles. Includes original owners manuals, sales brochure and 2 key fobs (one is not working, not sure why). I will also include the Siemens 220 volt wall charger. Beautiful and rare 2016 Cadillac ELRVery clean, and stunning electric hybrid luxury coupe in mint condition. It's a beautiful looking plug-in hybrid that gets attention and currently averages 100+ mpg. It has been driven gently, has low miles and still has a factory warranty. The electric motor has plenty of instant torque, and the on-board range extender provides hundreds of miles of additional capacity, so you get the benefits of an electric car with no range anxiety! $20 fills the tank on premium gas! Take long highway trips with no stops for recharging the battery; if you run out battery power, the car keeps going by automatically generating its own electricity from the gas engine. The ELR was made for 2 years only: 2014 and 2016. Fewer than 3,000 ELRs were built. Of those, only a small percentage (less than 550) are the 2016 model. The 2016 is the preferred model with improvement like Apple & Android infotainment systems. Other improvements, over the 2014 model, include feel of the brakes, the noise level of the gas engine when running, and the responsiveness of the CUE infotainment system. GM halted production for 2015 and corrected these issues with the 2016 model. For the 2016 model year Cadillac raised total system horsepower from its two electric motors and gasoline four-cylinder engine. Horsepower increased from 217 to 233, and peak torque increased from 295 lb-ft to 373 — reducing the zero-to-60 time by 1.5 seconds. The 2016 models featured revised torque-steer-mitigating strut technology with stiffer springs, stiffer control-arm bushings, and the addition of a damper rebound spring.The rear twist-beam axle received stiffer bushings for its Watts linkage and the adaptive suspension was returned to match the increased stiffness and the recalibrated steering. Brakes were also upgraded.
