1997 Cadillac Eldorado Gorgeous Dark Adriatic Blue (Navy) paint over a deep navy leather interior complemented by gold accent stripes and brushed aluminum seven spoke touring rims. 126k miles since new. Absolutely zero rust anywhere (the undercarriage is immaculate). Recent maintenance includes a steering rack, ac charge, front tires, four wheel alignment and a rebuilt keyfob. Everything works as it should on this car and it rides as beautifully as it looks. I average 23.9 mpg at 82mph on the expressway and around 19 mpg city. There are no leaks, no oil usage and absolutely zero overheating issues. NADA values the car at $5500 and my insurance company is close behind. Looking to send her to a good home where she will continue to be loved, cherished and babied as she has been. ZERO rust. ZERO RUST!!!! You could eat off the undercarriage. Factory floor mats in trunk. 32 valve Northstar V8. Heated power memory leather bucket seats. Bose sound. Steering wheel controls. Power windows/door locks. Car has tons of power and averages 25 mpg. Has driver/passenger front air bags, traction control and 4 wheel disk ABS. Recent service included new brakes (rotors and pads all around) new front wheel bearings and passenger side CV axle, ac repair/recharge, new power steering rack/pinion, a new radiator, water pump/thermostat and housing gaskets, head gasket service and an alignment. While this car is in gorgeous shape, it isn’t without flaws. Most notably, the struts are beginning to show signs of aging and I think it would be to replace them. Additionally, the tires are old and could stand to be replaced. The interior is beautiful but as with every Cadillac of this era, the dash pad defroster housing has started to pull away from the actual padding. It’s not terrible but it annoys me (I’m absolutely OCD anal about these things). The drivers seat and center armrest are showing minor signs of wear. The lower drivers door panel was reattached using two chrome bolts. And last, the paint could stand a good wheel out as it is in the VERY early stages of oxidizing. It is still very presentable but I believe that a professional detail would really bring out the shine in her and preserve her coat for many years to come. Overall, this has been a wonderful and reliable driver for our family and it has a lot of life left in it.
