Offers considered. Beautiful car, must see. My father has owned this car for the past 8 years. No known mechanical issues, the reason for sale is this has been replaced by a mini van. My father is not as agile as he once was and stepping up to get in/out of a van is easier than stepping down into the STS. Well maintained, most service over the years was performed by Southtowne Chevrolet in Newnan. It drives great and is very comfortable and quiet. This is a heavy car but you wouldn't know it with the 320hp V8. It has 127k mi and drives like a much younger car. Includes both oem key fobs, nav DVD, owners manuals. You'll see STS and CTS for sale needing an engine unfortunately. This is somewhat common on the 3.6 V6 models, they skip timing due to failed chain or other component. The 2005 and up STS with 4.6 Northstar V8 doesn't suffer from this problem and is no more likely to have timing failure than any other engine out there. Cosmetically the car looks good in and out. The color is 46U, stealth grey exterior with ebony interior. It's a very attractive color combination! The paint is aging well and shines up great. While fairly inconspicuous, there are some blemishes on the front bumper and a few door dings. The interior looks super and the leather is nice except for a tear in the driver seat cushion. Dad thinks he might have had a screw driver in his pocket, but was many years ago. Carpet and headliner are very clean. Non-smoker. I've been driving the car for a month now to make sure it's a good car for the next owner. It has cold air and hot heat. The brakes are smooth and the Continental tires have good tread remaining. There are no leaks on the garage floor and no strange odors. It rides better than my E-class Mercedes. This has the 1SG package! Most STS you see for sale will be the V6 model without much equipment, when new that was a $40k car. The Northstar V8 model had a starting price of $47k but with 1SG and other options the price soared. We don't have the original window sticker, however based on my research, this car was beyond $60k... V8 $47495, 1SG $8695, F55 magnetic ride control $1850, FE3 performance handling $795, CF5 sunroof $1200, TT6 HID headlights $?. The factory 18" wheels and rear spoiler complete the package. In summary, at our asking price, this is a lot of car for the money! I think the only options it does nothave are all wheel drive, heads up display and adaptive cruise control. There are some negatives to share... The left rear tire pressure sensor battery has died so it shows message on the dash (press the [ I ] button to dismiss). The FM radio reception goes out if you turn on the rear defrost at the same time. Small tear in driver seat cushion. The owner's manual states premium fuel recommended, so that's what has been run in this car and is a common requirement on powerful upscale luxury vehicles... this could be a negative when it comes to filling up the tank if you're not used to paying for premium fuel. This car has a clear title and no accident history. All Cadillac STS come with many standard features such as power steering, power locks, abs, keyless entry, remote start, push button start, one touch power windows, air conditioning, automatic wipers, automatic three zone climate control, satellite radio, OnStar, etc. Dad has a folder full of receipts and invoices.
