Yes, this is likely the most expensive Astro on ebay, but its not exactly your grandpas minivan & it also comes with a trailer :) Up for grabs is a really not stock 2000 Chevy AWD Astro Van & a 2018 custom cargo/camp trailer. To be clear, this includes BOTH the van & the trailer! The ONLY items NOT included in listing are as follows: Any personal gear seen in pics such as kayak, snowboard, snowshoes boots etc.. also NOT included is the Thule Cargo box Van: Vortec v6, automatic, just turned 150k miles, cold air intake, optima yellowtop battery, $5k in repair receipts this last year.. from spider fuel injectors to all things timing & ignition, brand new All customization work done in the fall of 2017, less than 30k miles on all of it: 4" Lift, 31" Kenda M/t tires & wheels, moog hub assemblies, brakes all around, rebuilt transfer case Super clean body & paint, very minor scratches here or there. Way too many custom parts & addons to truly list.. but a few: Rear cargo built into camp kitchen featuring a 2 burner stove on a slide out tray, 10gallons of potable water plumbed to a 12v galley spigot, second Optima Yellowtop deep cycle battery ballasted to vehicle battery to charge while draining, only drain spare battery to feed 1200 watt power inverter to operate electrical in trailer (all wired with quick connects) Tow package, custom step hitch, custom front light hoop with 7" HID spotlights wired to an old school floor mount high beam switch 8' retractable awning over sliding door, cargo basket with 3 sides LED lights (switches installed in overhead console between two front seats) Did all the work myself on this, not a single bolt I don't know about & am willing to show the new owner. Trailer: Brand new 5x8 (brand name escapes me) I pulled right off the dealer lot & disassembled entirely. Flipped the rear axle to raise the height to match the van, replaced wheels & tires with matching mud terrain, gutted the interior to install 1.5" foam board insulation & carpeted plywood walls in indoor/outdoor carpeting. Installed 2 high end yacht windows on each face of the trailer, installed roof vent, custom fabricated stargazing/luggage rack & ladder, multiple Jerry Can tanks, Recovery Tracks, propane tank to fuel the Catalytic heater installed in the trailer for heat source. Interior of the trailer was ultimately designed for one guy, one dog but can easily accommodate 2 people but relatively intimately. 8" memory foam mattress was cut up & wrapped in faux leather for bedding. 120v outlets in multiple spots with power supplied by 1200 power inverter. Multiple hidden storage compartments & baskets, trailer also includes a 24" flat screen tv on a swivel which can swing out of the side door to be viewed while laying in a hammock.. because I installed hardware on the rear corners of the trailer to sling hammocks :) I pretty much thought of EVERYTHING building this van & trailer setup, and enjoyed building it & owning it, but new chapter, perhaps new vehicles. Not "hard up" to sell this rig, it will be driven to Seattle early April & for sure would fetch close to my asking down there but figured I'd see if there was interest up north here first! She is not perfect, but overall for the year I would say she is a solid 9 out of 10! The interior shows very well. Comes with Trail Master conversion van seats! Super comfortable. The rear bench seats converts into a small bed. All interior electronics are in good working order, except for the TV in the back. It is inop due to age. Could use an LED TV upgrade.
