I have a folder containing all receipts for repairs made to this car. This folder will support my price for the car. Engine, 4 wheel drive, and transmission all run well. Broken A/C. Missing rear-view mirror.

Needs transmission but engine, body and frame are good. Interior is good shape. It is in too good shape to junk.

This is a rare 1996 Chevrolet Blazer LS with the ZR2 package. It is my understanding that fewer than 450 Blazers were produced with the ZR2 package in 1996. I am the second owner. I purchased the vehicle in March, 2001 from the original owner near St Louis, Missouri. The vehicle registered 104,100 miles at the time of purchase. In June, 2014 I had the engine replaced with a new remanufactured engine. Mileage at that time was 166,488 miles. The vehicle has extensive rust damage underneath as mentioned above, causing me to have to replace the fuel tank, brake lines, fuel line over the years. Vehicle is drivable and has a current inspection, however it has several small defects that have accumulated over time, so please consider this listing as selling the vehicle for parts, or extensive restoration -- not a road-ready vehicle. To the best of my knowledge, I'll list below the good and bad points, which may not be all inclusive. Positive points:1. New engine installed in June, 2014 has about 11,000 miles on it.2. Goodyear Wrangler tires, purchased in February, 2015 have 14/32nd to 17/32nd of tread.3. Never been wrecked.4. 4WD works without any problem5. Interior is in good shape without any tears to the upholstery.6. Transmission works good. Negative points:1. Extensive rusting underneath and frame is compromised2. Fuel gauge does not work3. Check engine light has been on for years4. Antilock brake light has been on for years5. Driver-side door lock does not work from key fob.6. Windshield was fluid system does not work.7. There seems to be an electrical short that drains the battery after several days when a particular 20 amp fuse is in place. I keep the fuse out most of the time to prevent this because I've never driven this vehicle on a daily basis. The fuse operates the horn, rear hatch release and interior lights.8. Just today, when I was cleaning up the vehicle, I noticed the smell of gas when it was idling, so I believe there may be a fuel leak developing near the gas tank.9. Radio/CD player will cut on and off intermittently, particularly in hotter weather.10. There is a leak in the A/C system. Over the past few years, I would refill the Freon in the Spring and it would last through the summer.11. Manual seat recline lever is broken on both front seats. This vehicle is being sold AS IS. Bought new by my grandfather in 1999 and then given to my father and then bought by me. Impeccable inside and out. Body, paint and interior in amazing shape. No rust. Garage kept and meticulously maintained. Runs great and looks great. Transmission smooth. New tires, brakes. 4 wheel drive does not engage and rear wiper does not work. Otherwise, in incredible condition. I hate selling her but I have to.
