Actual mileage is believed to be around 37,000 miles. The original black paint is in good condition with no major blemishes, however is it 26-year-old black... paint, so there are swirl marks present. The 2-tone gray cloth is in very good condition, no rips, tears, or signs of wear present. The gray floorboard carpet does show a few spots of staining over the years. All-in-all however, the car is in very good condition and shows well.This 93’ Camaro Z28 hardtop is powered by the iconic 350 CID LT1 V8 engine and is backed by a 6-speed manual transmission. This vehicle was listed by a different dealer on ebay in the past. I did not purchase it on ebay but directly from the dealer. Unfortunately it is not exactly as it was represented by the dealer. Below is his description of the car. The historical information is spot on. The condition of the car overall is very nice. I'd say it is one of the better examples out there with similar mileage. The items that the previous dealer negleted to mention are that the fuel gauge does not work, the wipers do not work and the speakers in the back work but are so full of static that you cannot listen to them. Fortunately I am including a new turn signal stalk to repair the wipers and a new fuel sending unit to fix the gas gauge. With those items replaced and some replacement speakers or stereo upgrade you will have a very nice SS. These cars do not appear to be going down in value. Finding nice 6 speed examples has become very difficult and/or expensive. The reserve is set very reasonably taking in to account the work needed to bring this car up to the condition it deserves. After a 24 year absence the Camaro SS returns as a limited production car built by SLP under contract to GM. Individually numbered out of 2,263.A Michigan company named SLP Engineering teamed up with General Motors to issue an all-new Camaro SS model in 1996. SLP (which stands for Street Legal Performance) was founded by ex-drag racer Ed Hamburger and began specializing in modifying Pontiac Firebirds in the 1970's. SLP worked hand in hand with both Pontiac and Chevrolet to create super-high-performance versions of both F-cars based on new Camaro's and Firebirds. The modifications gave the 1996 Camaro SS extra horsepower and gave the car appearance, handling and braking upgrades to go along with the added power.The new Camaro SS was featured in 35 automotive publications during 1996 and appeared on the cover of 17 leading magazines.This was a optional performance package for the Z28 coupe and Z28 convertible only.The base engine was a 305-hp LT1 V8.
