Vehicle Description Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that... I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier Z24 with just 91k miles. I would rate the exterior of this Cavalier to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking convertible. It is finished in white with a black soft top over gray interior. The white finish shows nicely for its age. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this Cavalier, the worst I can say is that there is some clear coat coming off right around the top of the right quarter panel...which will probably be hard to see in the photos. Aside from that, you'd be pretty hard pressed to find much worth complaining about as you walk around the exterior of this Cavalier. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors, and trunk all open and close easily. All of the trim and moldings are present and show well. There is a little rust visible along the rockers, but far less than usual. I even took a knee to look up in behind the rear bumper, which is where these are notorious for rusting out, and it looks pretty good. The soft top shows a few imperfections but is in good condition for its age. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in nice rubber with good tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this low mileage Cavalier came in. I would also rate the interior of this Cavalier Z24 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash shows some normal cracks from age. The carpets are thick and full looking throughout the interior. The cloth seats are clean, comfortable, and show virtually no wear. The passenger's door will need a new window regulator as this one only goes down halfway. All of the other windows, the power locks, and power mirrors all work properly. The power soft top raises and lowers smoothly with no issues. The audio system is original and sounds good through the factory speakers. The climate control system also appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The trunk is spacious and clean. Pride in ownership shows throughout this Cavalier. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this Cavalier appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.4L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older vehicle. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps proper temperature and feels strong. There have been no idiot lights on during my road test. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. These cars are fun and quick...not to mention ridiculously reliable.
