This is a very rare 1997 Corvette Coupe. Very hard to find. This was the year the body style changed. We purchased this car from a dealer employee in 1997. Runs strong and fast. It has been repainted and had new interior installed approximately six years ago. My wife just uses it to run around town. Local driving. This has been her baby.

Up for auction is a 1994 Chevrolet Corvette. This Corvette is the base model with the 5.7L LT1 engine. It has an automatic transmission. The Vette has a little over 140K miles. This Vette is in overall good shape and has some aftermarket goodies such as a Magnaflow exhaust system and Accel fuel injectors. Also has a newer aftermarket CD player. Seats are in good shape, covers have protected them. This Vette does need some work. The following are the known issues with it: The engine runs well but has a misfire when accelerating quickly. If the throttle is pressed quickly, sometimes it will backfire out of the intake. I had it looked at and was told it could be an issue with the optispark distributor, but I do not know for sure, and because of this, it should be towed. The windshield is cracked. The body has a crack about the size of a dollar on the driver’s side, just behind the wheel well opening (see close-up picture). The tires are worn pretty bad, and will need to be replaced. The vehicle will need new weather-stripping. The removable hardtop appears to be acrylic, but has been painted body color, and the finish is not the greatest. The vehicle does have an ABS light on, but no check engine lights. The vehicle does have two “chip” ignition keys, but the previous owner lost the door keys, so it will need new keys cut for the doors. This is obviously not a brand new car and will need a bit of work to make it perfect, but it is still a good solid running and driving Corvette. I have owned this car for 8 years and decided to sell it because I don't drive it very much and I'm just getting too old . I bought a complete lift out LT4 and had it installed by a Corvette shop in Bowling Green right next to the plant. The owner of the shop was Jim Van Dorn but the shop is no longer there due to the passing of Jim. I had him install a new Comp Cams camshaft and lifters at that time along with a new set of stainless steel headers and a new Billy Boat exhaust system. The engine only has 62,000 miles on it. One year ago I put a brand new (not rebuilt) Blue Tag 6 speed transmission along with a new Spec Stage 2 clutch pressure plate and flywheel in the car. I have only put 250 miles on it since the transmission/clutch was installed. It cost almost $3000 for that alone. The Goodyear F1 Eagle tires are 2 years old and have less than 1000 miles on them. It also has drilled and slotted rotors and ceramic pads. This car is in excellent condition, there is absolutely nothing wrong with it.I have addressed every little nit picking thing.Everything that needs to be replaced due to miles has been done. This car shouldn't need anything for a long time. It runs very well. I took it to the Arkansas Mile in 2016. My best speed was 152.4 in the standing mile. It had to go through a rigorous inspection before I could compete in that event. It passed with no problem. There are a lot of up grades that I'm not mentioning . SLP cold air intake, 3 row aluminum radiator etc. Everything works!! It also has both tops and the glass top looks like new! I have 2 covers for it that I will let go with it. There was nothing wrong with the LT1 when it was removed. We freshened it up and put in my son-in-laws 67 Nova along with the Black Tag 6-speed. The title is clear. It was paid off long ago. There is no lien on it as the car report shows.
