very hard to find these cars in good original condition without accidents and severe alterations, these cars generaly run in 4k-8k complete like new, also where you going to find a 3k car that gives 40MPG, can get to 90 MPH no problem on the highway. 2000 chevy metro 2d hatch see pics part of description, perfect interior, probably needs a new paint, 114k original miles, and out of that about 40k miles were being towed behind rv, car has a $500 heavy duty tow bar with light connection in front for rv towing. so about 75k running miles average on the car . A/C, original radio with cd. manual 5speed transmission, 3 cyl engine. the back hatch is not original and replaced a damaged one, perfect condition just different color.new battery, new belts including timing belt, absolutely no leaks, chevy synchromesh new fluid in trans, new oil, clean title previously owned by 70 year old high MPG enthusiast who has had it at 51mpg. have records written. no rust anywhere. original foot mats. original manuals. Good tires. the car is insured and tagged, i put about 250 miles on it a month, this car can be tagged and put on the road immediately when you buy it, there are absolutely no problems and it can be a instant daily driver. second gear is temperamental sometimes but at 20 mph goes in every time. i am not sure if its misaligned shifter or syncro but there is absolutely no grinding anywhere and all gears are smooth except the occasional second, the reason is i believe because when the fluid was changed to synchromesh the old fluid was clean without any filings of any kind. its not a race car so going from 1st to 3rd is normal.
