OPTIONS: - Dual leather power seats, a very rare option. Really comfortable seats! - Power locks and windows. Stereo: CD player and Cassette player too. - Heavy-duty hitch and heavy-duty front tow hooks, removable hard plastic bed liner - Bug shield on hood, Chevy mud flaps, Sliding rear cab window, Fog lights ENGINE: The bullet proof GM V-6 engine!!! TRANSMISSION: AUTOMATIC It has the tough six cylinder engine everybody likes. These engines are known for running over 300,000 miles, if taken care of properly. It has about 189,000 miles which is less than average for the year. NO SMOKE when running or at initial start up, which tells you the engine is healthy internally, rings are good and valve seals are good. Runs and drives excellent, has lots of power, which also indicates a healthy engine. When you kick it down, it feels like a strong V-8 engine and it really goes. NEW MAINTENANCE COMPLETED IN FEBRUARY 2019 All 4 shocks, front right wheel bearing and ABS sensor, oil line, driver door hinge pins and bushings, all 4 front suspension ball joints, NEW-not rebuilt: left front CV joint axle, and four wheel alignment. The most typical things that wear out have been replaced. RECENT MAINTENANCE COMPLETED Like new tires, all 4, original size, excellent tread. Front left wheel bearing and ABS sensor, alternator and water pump. I don’t think it needs anything else. I should be good and reliable for a while now. All the parts that were replaced, except tires, were the originals and look how long they lasted. Over $2500.00 in work done recently on this truck to make it last many more years to come, for the new owner. * Please note the rust in the pictures, on the rocker panels at the rear corner of the cab, which is typical of these trucks. Please note the broken window visor, shown in the picture of the passenger front door. * The heat works very well, but the air flow control switch may need replaced, because the air only comes out of the vents. Since the heater generates a lot of heat, it will still defrost the windshield pretty quickly. I don't think this is very hard to fix or trouble-shoot using YouTube or on line sources. I am disabled myself and did not get to this issue. I've had too many seizures lately. We are selling this truck for a widow friend, who recently lost her husband. So we fixed many things to help make this truck reliable and nice for the new owner. Sorry, but she could not find the owner's manual. And she could not find the bed-mounted latches needed to install the tailgate. In one of the pictures, I am pointing at the tailgate pivot that needs replaced, in order to reinstall the tailgate.
