I purchased it as a gift for my Wife and went through every detail so as to make it like new including a new steering wheel and after inspection found the transmission failed a code in the testing, I replaced the transmission with a new GM direct replacement (at 86,000 miles). It has been nothing but smooth sailing reliability since. The new Chevy Aluminum Rims and Goodyear tires, replacing the steel wheels, are the perfect match and I think make the truck look exceptionally stunning. But recently my Wife decided she wanted a Tahoe for the shorter parking lot maneuverability, and bought its replacement. So here I am selling the Suburban I planned to take to 250,000 to 300,000 miles with only 115,000 miles. As you can see there are many ads for high mileage Suburban’s still going strong! My Suburban mid life restoration and long term plan can now be your benefit. This is a 4 wheel drive, which is why I prefer the Chevrolet, so you can run it in two wheel drive in dry weather, and 4 wheel drive (auto, high or low) as needed. Giving the better gas mileage option where I typically see 19mpg when in two wheel drive mode! Lightly optioned, as a government vehicle, without a lot of extras. But it does have most of the basics with power drive seat, power windows, power locks with remote, AM/FM stereo radio (no DVD, which has now become the norm), extra electric outlets front and rear, third row seat with seating for 8, rear lift gate, etc… and the extra 1 1/2 feet of behind the seat storage space the Tahoe lacks. I replaced the rear bumper do to a few scratches when it was first bought and it looks as good as new. And I added Roof Rack Factory Cross Bars. Everything works as it should and it is very light on any wear and tear, no tears or noticeable wear anywhere. I use good rubber floor pads and the carpet under looks new, no wear or holes anywhere. No rust either. Feel free to come and look at it before bidding (and check out the new Tahoe), however as with any used car/truck I cannot guarantee it beyond the purchase and drive away or delivery pickup. I am very fastidious when it comes to maintenance and you may not be so much.

up for auction my 91 Suburban. The truck lived in the Lake Norman area of NC all its life until I brought it to Ohio in 2011.The truck retains all of its factory body panels which wear a professional respray of its factory colors. The truck has traveled less than three hundred miles since. Interior has original mats, steering wheel,radio etc etc, never modified in any way. Carpet is excellent along with door panels and seats. Dash pad does have a crack,and the headliner sags. I've loved these square body Suburban for the past twenty years and this one is no different. I've spent thousands on its refresh but, its time to move on to other things in my life. I'll do my best to list new item, rear bumper,Michelin tires,shocks,GM fuel pump,GM distributor,water pump,alternator,sway bar links,hoses, Russel braided brake lines, weather seals, factory wheels restored by Motor Motion, etc,etc,. The transmission is a GM reman with less than 10000 miles, The 5.7 received fresh bearings,gaskets,seals, valve job,timing chain oil pump. All engine brackets, pulleys,were powder coated the correct black, along with the inner fenders, valve covers,oil pan, timing chain cover. Intake and exhaust manifolds were Jet Hot coated for a long lasting shine. I also had many bolts cad-plated for a nice contrasting detail. Truck has all power options you'd want,also is equipped with a factory engine oil cooler and 373 gears. Has Firestone lift bags with on board air compressor. Message me with any questions. I made no effort to stage,wash,dust,detail or clean the truck. The truck never had a patch panel or any form of rust repair. I'm going upload a few more pictures that show the bottoms of the doors. In order to do this,I'll have remove a few of the engine photos. Ebay has a 24 picture limit. A hand full of folks have asked, "what needs to be bought for the truck to finish it". I think that depends on you and your wants and tastes? If it were me, I'd buy a new headliner. Rock Auto has new U.S.A. made ones for 330$, Body belt line molding kit from LMC about 125$ and a dash pad from Cheyenne truck parts,again about 330$.
