This particular Suburban was built using the complete drivetrain from a 2008 2500HD Pickup including the engine, transmission, HD rear & front differentials and all other essential electronics and cooling. The mileage showing on the Suburban now is the mileage on the drivetrain (94,xxx Miles) and will increase as the Suburban is being driven daily. The burb had right at 141k on the body when the conversion was done. I have personally driven this Suburban around for a couple hundred miles since converted with ZERO issues. This Suburban looks, runs, and drives as if it came from the factory with Duramax / Allison installed. Everything functions as it should with NO warning lights and NO issues. This Duramax Suburban can easily be serviced at your local GM Dealership using the Tech II scan tool or any other diagnostic tools they may have. The engine itself is completely stock, with only simple longevity modifications done. The exhaust has been upgraded to a 4" exhaust, Bilstein 5100 stainless shocks were added, Bilstein Steering Stabilizer, the EGR has been removed, the ECM was programmed with EFI Live ANNNDDD a 30HP tow-tune was installed...because lets face it- we all want a little extra something done! The power and performance of this Duramax Suburban is simply amazing. It is capable of pulling just about anything you want to put behind it. Very impressive fuel economy as well at 18-20 MPG which is a HUGE improvement over the 9-11 MPG previously as a 6.0 Liter Vortec V8 engine.
