Up for sale is our 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4x4 with 109,452 miles. This TrailBlazer has low mileage for its age, and definitely has a lot of life left. We have owned this truck for a little over two years and are only selling because we have three vehicles and no longer have use for this one. We are the second owners and have only put about 18,000 miles on it in those two years. I have had a lot of work done to this truck in the time we've owned it, including the following:Brakes fully serviced, including new calipers & hosesReplaced muffler and catalytic converterReplaced both O2 sensorsReplaced upper & lower ball jointsReplaced rear sway linkReplaced all shocks & strutsReplaced ignition coil & spark plugsReplaced valve cover gasketReplaced transmission cooler linesReplaced power steering cooler & flushed power steering systemReplaced thermostatReplaced F/R outer tie rodAll work was done professionally and I can provide receipts. The engine is very healthy and the 4WD system still works perfectly. This would definitely do well as a light hauler or fun off-road vehicle. The truck also comes with a complete set of WeatherTech custom fit floor mats, including one for the cargo area. This truck does have the following issues:Needs a new set of tires.Should have the power steering lines looked at and replaced. One of the lines sprung a leak and was patched up, but to ensure long-term reliability, the line should probably be replaced.Radio doesn't power on. The head unit was replaced a couple years ago and stopped working after a few months. Seems like a fuse or wiring issue, but I haven't driven the truck enough to warrant spending a lot of time figuring it out. I will be including the truck's original head unit, which still works perfectly fine.Leather on the driver's seat is fairly worn (see pic below), although that is normal for the trucks' age. There is a fair amount of corrosion under the hood (see pic below), which is a well documented problem with TrailBlazers. As a result, it usually takes a few good pushes to get the hood to latch. For sale is a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer with about 160k miles. The truck is well cared-for and in overall great shape for its age, and only needs minor repairs to pass inspection. It’s been owned by my mother since 2012 with three owners prior to her and a clean title. This truck has served her well over the years but she doesn’t drive it often since she got her new car, it’s mostly just been sitting in a garage since last summer. The big things like the motor, transmission, cooling, power-steering, etc. are all tip-top and have never had problems. All headlights, power windows, HVAC, and most major accessories are working. The inspection expired Feb 2019 and will need some brakes and struts before it will pass. The interior is in good shape and mostly clean, with no major damage to upholstery; the floors are a bit dirty however. The exterior shows minor damage from a recent act of vandalism and a few minor collisions (not with other cars, we just have a very cramped driveway; mostly dings and scrapes), the windshield is brand new and completely flawless. The plastic guard below the front bumper is also hanging down on one side and there is a noticeable dent towards the rear-passenger side. Aside from that, there is very little rust damage especially given the age of the car, just a few spots here and there. Damage/Not Working: -- Front brakes and rear struts will need to be replaced in order to pass inspection. Will definitely need an oil change and it’s probably about due for a tune-up as well. -- As mentioned, the plastic guard is hanging from the front bumper and will need re-attached. -- The spare tire mount appears to be damaged/not working (hence why the spare currently bungied in the trunk). The cable doesn’t lower when you unwind it. I’m pretty sure it can be fixed but I’ve never taken the time to look at it. -- The cd player is not working. It looks like a disc is jammed inside, it may be possible to unjam it, but I never attempted it. The radio and tape deck are still working. Included is a full-size spare tire, although I’m not sure what kind of shape it’s in. With some minor repairs and the regular maintenance, this car could easily last another 100k miles and would be an excellent starter car or work vehicle for a tradesman who just needs some cheap and reliable hauling power.
