Offered for sale is a 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer SS. I am the original owner and purchased new in '08. A few years ago the vehicle was involved in an accident in the front right quarter. Airbags did not deploy in this accident. Though I begged them not to, the insurance company decided to total the vehicle. I purchased the total back from them and began a project with it. The vehicle was completely rebuilt using genuine GM parts by a GM certified body shop. In the time I spent rebuilding it and adding all the things I wanted, the state of Rhode Island in which I live changed their law. All salvage rebuilds must now be done by a licensed salvage rebuilder within 6 months of the vehicle being deemed a total loss. Most states do not have this rule. The vehicle must only pass a safety inspection before it is registered. Body is a little beat up and has some rust. Car was a wreck repair car that was repaired about 12 years ago. Fan clutch has been removed but engine runs.
