Fiberglass rollpan and new smoked lights with LED 3rd brake light Engine rebuilt last year, reconditioned factory 5.9 block crank and connecting rods, new .030" pistons block square docked and align honed and bored .030, hughes performance hydraulic roller cam, hughes/edelbrock performer rpm intake manifold, (stock fuel injectors and throttle body. New roller rockers and comp pushrods, new lifters, heads cleaned resurfaces and ported with new stainless valves and pac valve springs/retainers. Transmission also rebuilt last year, all new clutches steels and mild shift kit with small stall converter drives like stock with a nice positive shift. Lowered with hotchkiss suspension and swaybars front and rear, handles like a car I have daily driven the truck since it was rebuilt at a performance shop. Runs and drives fantastic, ac does need to be charged. 2003 DODGE DAKOTA pick up truck, engine and trans run very well. Interior in good condition. Body has rust. Has new tire, front brakes, front upper and lower ball joints and heater core.

This is a very rare V8 (4.7L) 5-Speed truck. It was special ordered by an older guy near Roanoke VA new in order to get the manual tranny. When I purchased the truck several years ago it had just 24,000 miles on it. I have the original Bill Of Sale in addition to all of the literature the truck came with as well as the original window sticker. I have both keys and both remotes. At just over 97,000 miles it has very low miles for the year. The truck does have a Draw-Tite trailer hitch that was installed when the truck was new. It has all the usual power equipment as well as ABS brakes. Tires have 50% of the tread left. The water pump was replaced about 7 years ago. The front brakes were replaced last year along with the front control arms due to the bushings being worn. The rear emergency brake pads have also been replaced. The driver's front window regulator was recently replaced and the passenger front regulator was replaced last year. Otherwise, the truck has required only routine maintenance. The engine oil and the rear differential lube were both changed in June. I have a stack of routine maintenance receipts. However, I often do my own oil changes because I like to make sure things are done right. The truck has a spray-on bed liner that was in place when I purchased the truck. It was possibly done by the dealer at the time the truck was purchased new. Everything on the truck works. A couple of unique features of the Dakota is that the rear doors open fully to 90 degrees so you can load things in the rear seat very easily. Also, the back windows roll down completely whereas a lot of new trucks windows only go down about two-thirds of the way. The truck does have two small dents. One is on the driver front corner right behind the headlight and the other is also on the driver side just before the rear tail light. We had a major storm a few years ago and two limbs fell out of a tree and hit the truck. Due to their superficial nature and the age of the truck I opted not to repair them. The one on the front could possibly be corrected by a dent repair place without any painting if so desired. The single CD stereo does work but some times the CDs won't eject right away. Some times they do and some times they don't. They also do come out but occasionally it takes pressing the eject button a few times. It originally took me over a year to find this manual V8 truck. In preparing to sell this one, I've searched the net extensively and not found another one for sale, especially with under 100K miles. The reason for selling is just that I am opting to buy a newer truck. I've owned this truck for many years and I remain happy with it, but just time to trade up to something a little newer with more features such as NAV, bluetooth, heated seats etc. The truck is located in Knoxville TN and is available for inspection. 96000 mature drive miles. 2nd owner since 30000. Always garaged, never driven in winter, no rust except some on the rear bumper and some surface rust on the front suspension parts. Never in an accident. I don't think it's ever been over 3000 rpm. $1000.00 fiberglass bed cover. Tires are in good shape but probably 6 years old now, could consider a new set. Cooling system, transmission and motor religiously serviced, always synthetic oil. Cooling system excellent condition as well. A new brain was installed a year ago.
