Lend a Hand… Just traded, here is a an extra-clean looking Dakota quad cab that we bought good and unfortunately the transmission started slipping on the way home but this one is sure worthy of the repairs as it's been nicely kept inside and out. The 3.9L V8 runs well with good power, no puddles underneath and the brakes and suspension feel good, and there’s valid PA inspection through 2019. You can drive the truck lightly by letting your foot off the gas to allow the transmission to shift but it slips. The interior is in very healthy shape with clean carpets throughout, clean upholstery, dash looks clean and there are no bad odors inside. The headliner is falling down and is held up with thumb tacks. The heat blows hot but the fan motor is loud. The body looks great no major dents, no signs of rust including clean rockers and door bottoms, and the undercarriage of the truck looks very clean. The paint looks decent but needs a buff and wax and there are chips, scratches, and dings as you'd expect an older pickup truck. If you were looking for an affordable fixer-upper that will be a super clean one shaped up, this one will be sold with no reserve so thanks for looking and good luck with the auction. We sell exclusively on eBay auction to other dealers and the general public and advertise them in their as-is state as we would sell to another used car dealer. We have since sold over 6000 cars in this fashion. As is the case with all our cars, we don’t clean them, we don’t repair them, and try to describe them to the best of our ability. We don’t pull the wheels to check the brakes but drive them to determine what we feel is wrong. If dash lights are on, we tell you and if they are not on and come on for you on your trip home, it is your responsibility as our cars are sold AS-IS. If you should encounter a major problem, we are here to help you and won’t leave you in the lurch but will not be responsible for minor cosmetic or mechanical defects that come with being an as-traded used car. Wholesale & Prior to Re-Conditioning The cars you see on our eBay auctions are what we would call “raw trade-ins” from the new car dealers. These are cars that have not been cleaned, have not been run through shops, and have not been repaired in preparation for a sale. Buying a car in this Wholesale Capacity allows you to buy the car for less money and me to do less work. There will be assumed costs on minor defects and routine-maintenance items that come with being used. If you are receptive to buying a car in this fashion, the savings are yours. Because we sell our cars all over the world and in every state, inspections are not guaranteed in any state as each state differs in their requirements so it is virtually impossible for us to guarantee inspection. Motor Vehicle & Issuing of Plates Within walking distance of our car lot, there is a Pennsylvania-state motor vehicle agent that will issue Pennsylvania license plates and out-of-state temporary 60 day plates. They will accommodate all our customers within their normal business hours which are 9-5PM on weekdays and on Saturdays from 9-12PM, same as our hours. You can of course bring your own license plates / temporary tags if your state allows. It is mandatory that if you need plates you bring with you your drivers license and your insurance card for your present car. Names, addresses and dates must be valid on both items.
