Recommend to Simone who does your own work . I always done mine . I had this truck since 01and it’s been vary reliable. It runs good and the the transmission has never gone out it original . I believe it’s may have valve issues .The engine runs fine . And it still brought me to work every morning.But there is smoke coming out of the tail pipe sometimes not all the time . Not a huge amount but noticeable . It has passed smog in October. The smoke did not start until after it was do . The headliner is loose, there is a new headliner in the Auto Zone box, that will go with the vehicle. Spray on bed liner. The radio was replaced about a year ago, but something has happened to it, it no longer works.

Very Good Condition 2003 DODGE DAKOTA! My vehicle, single owner. I have maintained this truck since I bought it new in 2003. Starts and runs almost like new. All lights and electronics work fine. Engine is clean and also looks like new. Cold air conditioning and hot heat, manual dark tinted windows, CD/MP3 Disk Stereo. Upholstery good, one very small hole in one of the bucket seats. Floor rugs are good, I will include some floor mats if you want them. No rust on the body anywhere. Great running old truck that has never failed me, and always takes me where I need to go. So as there are no surprises here is the disclosure: -Actual mileage will change a bit from what you see in the photos, as I still drive it. -New tires will be needed within a year or so, and it's almost time for another tune up. I'd also change the wiper blades soon. -The interior roof liner should be replaced, I have it tacked up but, well, it's tacky. -Since the day I bought this truck there has been a check engine light on. I pass inspection because there is nothing wrong mechanically with this vehicle, I've had it checked and reset and it just always comes back on. -Paint is still decent with a few nicks and scratches from loading and some clear coat fading on roof and hood. Eventually you might want to paint it, it's worth it for the mileage it has and the condition of the motor. I am sure you could pick it up and drive it home wherever you live in the continental USA. Book value is 4-5k or so. My price is firm and includes 150.00 eBay charges for fees.
