The vehicle is being stored at a trucking facility and we can be very flexible with helping a shipper load the vehicle or arranging a pick up time. If you are having your vehicle shipped and picked up by a transporter they can pick it up 7 days a week as long as I have 24 hours notice. I usually need a days notice so I can make your vehicle accessible and make sure I can have someone meet the driver if I am unable to. I reserve the right to refuse your transporter if they don’t give me sufficient notice. This is usually not a problem but lately I’ve been having shippers either give me an hours notice or just plain showing up unannounced. If your shipper does not have the required equipment to load his own truck (example: shows up with an enclosed box trailer and no ramps) and requires the assistance of my storage facility to load, the vehicle may be subject to loading charges (typically $75). This charge should be assumed by the unprepared trucker however if he refuses to pay we reserve the right to either turn him away or call you to approve payment of the additional charge. We will not charge our customers any additional charges without prior notice and consent. Due to weight and hazmat requirements, most shippers require vehicles to have less than 1/8th of a tank of fuel in them prior to shipping. Vehicles may be low on fuel at pickup or upon arrival when shipped. PLEASE NOTE: We cannot issue temporary tags and we have no way of obtaining temporary tags for you.
